Russian jamming of NATO's precision munitions in Ukraine render them just 10% effective

Ukrainian forces are refusing to take delivery of several of NATO's precision-guided munitions, including Excalibur artillery shells and Boeing's small-diameter bombs (GLSDB), because Russian electronic warfare efforts against these platforms have rendered them practically useless.
Russia's Pole-21 Mobile Electronic Warfare system can jam satellite signals, which make our GPS-dependent munitions vulnerable. For example, a survey of 3,000 artillery strikes showed that the effectiveness dropped from 55%, to just 6% because of Russian jamming and spoofing.

@@BSnicks War is always about resources, either taxpayers money or physical resources such as minerals, land etc. America is 34 trillion in debt, has failing infrastructure, schools, life expectancy, etc. Do you think its citizens would rather have their tax money spent on improving their lives? Or continually spent on forever wars. It’s always at war somewhere. $2 trillion dollars of taxpayers cash washed through the system to military suppliers and twenty years later they left Afghanistan in failure, and more importantly left billions of equipment, why? Because all that equipment has to be replaced. The so called aid to Ukraine is being spent in the USA on making weapons. It’s not being spent on you, your family, your healthcare, your roads, infrastructure, etc. you’re hard earned money and time is taken from you in tax to fund warfare.

Its the reason why we keep hearing nonsense reports from the Ukrainians that the patriot missiles are shooting down 100% of drones and cruise missiles. Even though we see the explosions on the ground from successful strikes. Zelensky has even threatened prison sentences to people who record successful missile strikes by the Russians. This is how far the US will lie to protect its corporate profits. Getting their proxies to imprison people for exposing the lie. After all, it's all about those weapons sales. If they told the truth and revealed just how useless the weapons are, no one would buy them.

The lead time for US weapons design and manufacturing is simply too long to be effective. Russia can figure out how to mitigate US weapons and manufactures jamming devices in a matter of weeks. Meanwhile, it would take US manufacturers months to assemble precision missiles. There are thousands of ‘precision missiles’ in various stages of assembly on the factory floor, despite knowing that they are boat anchors. The slow design and manufacturing process would be even more fatal against China’s enormous manufacturing capacities.

My very thought ever; there is a little short story (I forgot by whom) of ancient China, when a man finds out how to fly. The emperor, hearing of this feat, orders this man to be brought to him. The proud inventor is beaming with joy and tells the emperor how beautiful the land was from above and how far he could see. "Yes", the emperor replied, "it must be beautiful, but I have to have to execute you immediately. Others that will follow your example will use the art of flying for warfare".

You can bet that the Chinese military is also learning from the Russians on what to do against western smart weapons. This is where smart munitions can think on their own without GPS. In the good old days, inertial guidance systems did not have GPS to update navigation. Looks like the US needs to dig out some old books and relook at inertial guidance and AI.
