I don't know what it is, but there is a certain emergent quality within this anthem and instrumental and the text even. It transcends religion/creed/nationality etc and it directly touches the human soul. Russia must be a very special country, to produce such beautiful and soul-touching things like this anthem.

Fun fact: The Russian anthem utilizes the same notes as the Soviet anthem (1944-1991) (the only change being the lyrics). However, between the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 and 2001 Russia had a different anthem before Putin came into power. However, even as a non-Putin supporter, this anthem is still better.

J’adore écouter cet hymne, il est magnifique et donne infiniment d’émotion. Et j’adore aussi l’hymne allemand qui a les mêmes qualités.
