Well tbh today's Russia might be shit, but it is certainly better than the Tsar's absolute monarchy.

@@arakihirohiko580 The issue is not monarchy but autocracy. What set apart the Russian monarchy from the British monarchy was just how powerful the Russian Tsar was with respect to politics. While the British Royal Family became more of a symbolic figure, the Russian Royal Family retained their iron fist in politics. Now, were the Romanovs bad people? I don't think so, at least I believe that they were decent people. What ruined the Tsar was the fact he is an autocrat and since he basically held all power, whenever something went wrong, he was held accountable. "With great power comes great responsibility". We also cannot deny that Tsar Nicholas II was just inapt for the job; he himself did say he was not ready to be a Tsar.

@@b.t.peterson6429 you know nothing about Russian Empire period, the monarchy was not absolutist, as like Luis XIV and absolute monarchies. The absolutism is based by a bourgeoisie class, there was not a burgeoisie class in Russian Empire
