Hey guys It's an interesting topic! As you know already I don't speak Hindi But I just want to say that if you want to get visa for Russia it's not that hard as I read on many sites and blogs! There are a lot of little companies in Russia and they can do invitation letter and everything! For not a big money! And you don't have to pay for a hotel and so on! You can travel by couchsurfing, hostels and many places!

Yes even Americans have to get a Russian invitation visa, but annoying and expensive really but well worth it. Especially just to visit St. Petersburg!

You have to pay for an invitation letter, but if you have any Russian friends than they can send an Invitation letter for you and Online Application form is free, you just have to fill the online form and take printout of that :)

brother, in your Russian invitation letter, there is mention of hotel accomodation in various places. Do you have to book the hotel accomodation in all these cities before you apply for the invitation letter ? or has it been mentioned by them?
