I agree. I just can't play the game every wipe now. I play here and there but facepunch just adds too much garbage instead of improving upon things already in the game for greater progression and optimization. anyone who gets made when people say the ruined their game are delusional and have likely barely even played rust to have a valid opinion@@kroo2804

As soon as the team stopped their indie experiments and went full-force on Rust, the game became leagues ahead of all other survival games. Big kudos to everyone on the team, working on this masterpiece.

problem is. Its going farther and farther from a survival game. its becoming a more competitive PVP game, i'd like to see them make the game harder in general and especially for clans. as well as make it more realistic in terms of guns, natural threats, building etc. kind of like DAYZ which was the inspiration for rust in the first place

@@esxoteric Rust has unique and very realistic aspect to survival: if you want to survive, you have to be a part of a group, it's the real-life evolutionary way of surviving. Strays don't survive for too long, but a group can.

@@paledolphingroups only survive until a certain extent. RN as they are, Clans are perfectly fine having like 20 people running around since they can sustain it, which optimally imo should be incredibly difficult to do in a survival game.

Crazy how much this game has changed these last few years. And then when you look back to the days of alpha... Huh? Yall really think a player driven attack helicopter are going to be a good change. Why don't the devs just improve upon what's already there instead of just add and adding. And please tell what "metas" facepunch have upended. AK has been the best gun in the game for ever. It's clear that the devs barely care about balancing. Adding homing missiles and attack helicopters aint changing any meta lil pup.

Only thing missing is that homing missiles out of a manpad move with speeds up to mach 2 and not with a speed that Usain Bolt can outrun. Great update with great features none the less!
