Brief return to this channel again to just keep it alive enough for the remonetization appeal.
I try adapting the gags into English whereever applicable, these will not be direct translations but a translation focusing more on the spirit and contexts.
Other than that for gags that cannot be translated well such as references, I will point the references out even if it might ruin the gag itself. tbh a lot of the gags don't make sense even in Japanese and that's kinda the point.
Also admittedly had to walk back a bit on trying to omit Niji EN members in clips since a lot of this clip would flow much worse and make much less sense if Meloco is totally removed.

For me the concept of a joke gacha system is the funniest thing of his set. If a joke is a SSR or a dud is mostly dependend on the listener itself. To Ao they were all ssr.

Dude THANK YOU for all of the additional context and for translating this legend Zuzu. I have really only been following clips of pizza gang and the holo talents. But now seeing this Zuzu gag made me realize I missed out on the absolute best gag that came out of Rust. Thanks to this event, I have discovered Toko, Marutake, and now Zuzu. Zuzu’s humor though has me kneeling. Going to try and find all the translated clips I can of this guy. This clip had me in tears, THANK YOU!

Most new players in the recent VCR Rust comes from Sutogura RP server, including Zuzu, Light and Kohana Lam. These three are in the same gang with Light (McDonald is his RP character) as the gang leader and Kohana Lam is the underboss. Kohana Lam will sometimes sings acapella while roleplaying.

I am surprised that Zuzu was getting the attention from VCR Rust players, he is basically a "neta" character in Sutogura server who often get "bullied" and picked on to just because he gives the best reactions. I mean, even Nakamura Yuichi the voice actor often picked on him whenever they meet during role playing.

@@Soulnado I don't know about the other two, but from a clip I watched, Meloco seems to be a Sutogura enjoyer, which connects the dot how she knows Zuzu and his unfunny stand up gags. Here's hoping that she would get an invite there, just to add more multilingual roleplayers in Sutogura.
