9 жыл бұрынHi ! This is my guitar cover of Rust In Peace... Polaris by Megadeth, from their awesome Rust In Peace album. I'm playing both Dave Mustaine's and Marty Fridman's parts using an EVH Wolfgang Special, a Tokai Love Rock Japan, a Marshall Vintage Modern and FL Studio.
I think I'm going to cover the entire album since the more I listen to it the more I find it awesome...

@@yessir6427 They did play it on the Rust in Peace anniversary show. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bZaVhL10ycm0do0.html The problem is, Dave's vocals were overdubbed for this release, very obviously so. Not sure what it actually sounded like live.

Unpopular opinion: there are songs in the Rust In Peace album that kicks Holy Wars' AND Tornado of Souls' asses

I still think holy wars is the best because it feels like a long epic saga no riff is repeated in the same form (except for daves first lead and the punishment dues verse riff) It is just so masterfully put together and it climaxes so dramatically at daves solo

just learning this, the left hand is very fast. Used to playing metallica which is generally fast on the right hand. different styles.

4:40 can anything be thrashier than this song's (the last song of the album) outro? This is one of the many reasons Rust In Peace is the Thrash Metal's master piece.

I think the "I spread disease like a dog" part doesn't have the pedal notes at E; I think they are muted by the left hand

I mean, i love Countdown To Extinction, but this album really kicks ass. This song in particular seems very complex to play but once you start to take on Daves adaptions this becomes quite easy, very easy in fact. Ive gone from learning Symphony of Destruction to, Kick the Chair, etc, then eventually built up to this In a matter of weeks. On that note; your cover totally blows my playing out of the water. Absolutely outstanding!
