Say I wanted to just give wrench its original metal finish look after media blasting, what would be a good way to seal/prevent flash rust from occurring without painting the tool?

Great job, man! By the way, what would you say about the car paint for tools? Is it durable enough?

Yes, it is definitely much better. The problem is that the car paint dries very slowly. I want to buy a gun that paints with powder, it dries very quickly in about 30 minutes.

It looks cool. But for the same amount of work you could have nickel plated it and it would be both more functional and truer to the original.

I don't contradict you here and I think it looks much nicer nickel-plated than it looks now. I didn't know how to do it and I chose the colors at random, nothing crossed my mind.

Well I was with you up until you spray painted the damn thing. That's not durable at all if you just going to leave it sit around to look at I guess that's fine. But I restore tools so that they're back to their original function and use. If you use that how it's supposed to be that paint will chip up and look like crap over time.

You're right, don't say bad things, what I restore I don't use anymore, I put them in a closet. I want to buy a gun that throws with coloring powder and by heating it sticks to the metal, if you hit the hammer the paint will not break.💪😊
