@bcroley77 I agree.Tim is wearing the suit they wore when Gold City recorded first live album in '82. Regardless, this is a gem!!!

Gold City needs to record an album with Tim singing this song. Not sure how he'd do on the verses. Danny or Craig might have to help him out.

Tim is great. i have to say i do not know of another lead/baritone/2ndTenor,(Jim Hamill),type as Rusty Goodman who can sing pretty solid bass!
@vitormrmr3 жыл бұрын
Rusty is a lyric bass maybe. He sang low notes as Bb1, C2, D2 and D#2 as example.

Was Rusty a bass singer? His D2 in the beginning is excellent!!
@adkinsda4 жыл бұрын
Yes
@vitormrmr4 жыл бұрын
@@adkinsda His D2 is better than Riley´s D2. But, Tim reached a Bb1(low note) in 2:40.
@Onesimus74711 жыл бұрын
agree, good example. only man with that big a range in think; JD Sumner. although lower

Oh my! What hair! ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@EnchiladaMan36011 жыл бұрын
It's all in the hairline. The fact that Tim does a side part can easily hide a lace front, but if you look very closely at his temples, you will notice the hairs aren't coming from his skin. That area is the most difficult edge of the hairpiece to disguise, even in wigs like Tim's, which probably cost thousands of dollars. It's definitely much more convincing than the earlier wigs, though.
@j.r.51303 жыл бұрын
Was he wearing a wig here?
@EnchiladaMan3603 жыл бұрын
@@j.r.5130 No. He just had a combover here, but within a couple of years, he began wearing a wig.

Male pattern baldness. Based on this and photos of him with the Dixie Echoes from some years earlier, I'm assuming he was a Norwood 5 at this point, and he grew his hair long on the sides to comb over his "chrome dome". It looks different now because I'm sure he's progressed to a Norwood 6 or 7 and wears a voluminous, unconvincing rug.
@EddyGuerro513 жыл бұрын
Yeahh low five at 2:50
@GamingDrummer8914 жыл бұрын
Tim still sounded good back then, just like he does today! But does anyone know why he wore his hair like that back then, lol?
@cadeevans4623 Жыл бұрын
He was going bald so he either wore a hairpiece here or combed it to cover up his baldness here eventually he got a hairpeice
@GamingDrummer89 Жыл бұрын
@@cadeevans4623 Oh yeah, I've become more familiar with it in recent years. There's even a funny story about how one of his hairpieces almost caught on fire in a hotel room back in the 1990s, haha.
@GamingDrummer8911 жыл бұрын
Really? To me his current hair (rug or not) looks pretty convincing. It was back in the late 80's and 90's that he wore the unconvincing ones, lol.

I llike rusty good man great song writer great person big personality from what I've heard but still can't understand how he found work as a bass singer when not with his family (very clear why in that family had lowest voice) he was at best a baritone with a decent low range and a good middle high range. i'd of hired him to be my baritone or lead not my bass. or just hired him to write my songs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@adkinsda4 жыл бұрын
Check out Plainsmen Qt videos when Rusty was their bass.
@vitormrmr2 жыл бұрын
He reached low notes such a Bb1, he was a good bass too. Versatility is the word who described this man.
@Onesimus74711 жыл бұрын
attention should be placed on what the lyrics instruct rather than Tim's hair.
