Restoration Video Overview
It was very difficult to make this video of restoration but along with this we gave it such a new life and look that you will be surprised to see it was so old it was full of rusty we completely remove the rust and customized it which enhanced its beauty And by applying black color of matte color, is Amazing. The old handle was of no use so we had to make a new one. also customized its wooden handle very well. and made the hammer shine like glass. Now after restoration it is fully usable

Overall pretty good. The head was very nice. The handle... Hmm... The fitment of the handle to the head needs more attention, needs a no-gap tight fit between the head and the shoulder you carved on the handle. Those metal straps need to be on the other sides to protect the wooden handle from damage/splintering when there are those inevitable mis-strikes or slip-strikes. Smoother handle with a taper from top/narrow to bottom/wide for all-day comfortable, stable, no-slip, blister-free swinging.👍✔️💯

Nice work on the polishing but that handle needs some big changes. Please know that these comments are here to help you improve your skills. The grooves on the grip will be very uncomfortable whereasa smooth handle would be better. The metal strips should be on the other sides (they will help protect the wood if you miss while swinging). I would recommend rivets instead of nuts and bolts as well. That will reduce the hard edges and give it a more finished look. The top of the handle should be flush to the hammer, as well. The hammer head looks really nice. I would use cold bluing instead of spray paint. It will give that same look without worrying about chipping off. Looking forward to more content and watching your skills improve!

I swung a 4 lb sledge for 5.5 years out of high school and if you put this in the hands of a working man, he'd be complaining about the grip after the first job. You don't want a honey dipper style handle on anything that isn't purely cosmetic. That would cause blood blisters and pinched skin with every swing of the hammer. With a striking tool, you always want a smooth, even surface. 1/10 for practicality. Pausing the video at 0:00 shows not a single callous on the hand of the person doing the "work" and should tell you everything you need to know about this video.

Это, просто молоток, рабочий инструмент, которым гвозди забивают и шлифовать его , до зеркального блеска, не вижу не обходимости. Отреставрировал, конечно замечательно, мастеру респект.
