steel haze Ortus is still relatively stylish and high skill, but also one of the top NPC AC builds in the game in terms of strength and practicality, especially if you swap out some of the internals

Rusty only counts as a wall climber if you beat the Juggernaut boss before he leaves. No dispute with calling him a worm killer tho.

@@johnwhite8847 I mean, the mission where you're gathering audio logs implies that after helping you with one Juggernaut, he went on to fight an entire interception force including a second Juggernaut and dozens of MTs without stopping for repairs first (based on the wrecks you find in the area at least). I'd say that deserves a share of the Wallclimber status.

One of the better presets post buff but pre buff wasn't really worth it as the gains in speed and ACS recovery weren't as good as they are now. And the pistol always ran out of ammo all the time.

I did it for the S-rank for lulz, it was a fun attempt. Definitely not meta but just makes you a better pilot

It’s the Steel Haze preset, that’s Rustys build. You get the info for beating him in the arena, I think he’s C rank. If you’re looking to do it in the earlier game the generator (hokushi) isn’t unlocked til (iirc) chapter 5. The frame is all nachtreier, RH is the burst pistol(midway ch3 unlock I think), RS 3 shot plasma missile, LH laser slicer (i think ch3 or 4 unlock) Alula booster I forget the ACS

@@an_ordinary_goose AC data, furthest right screen. Should be five, four player presets and then you can see the builds of folks you’ve beat in the arena. You get info at a few other points too, like after the intro mission you get the AC data for the last G13 since he’s one of the wrecks you check. Ngl, they’re all suboptimal, but Rustys build is pretty alright. I’ve been debating a Mad Stomp Only challenge run.

You got it mixed up, Unknown Territory Survey comes right after this and we never destroy STEEL HAZE, it just gets an arm blown off and Rusty retreats and goes AWOL, he ends up giving it to the RLF, you hear a voiceline about it in the Liberator ending route.
