@@HaggardRC going to Des Moines IA later tonight to hopefully pick up everything I need to start it. Nobody has an engine warmer in stock at the local (1 hour away) hobby stores... so I picked up a heat gun. Going to get: fuel, fuel bottle, glow ignitor, extra glow plug(s), tuning screwdriver, after run oil. Anything I'm overlooking to get it started and break it in properly?

@@HaggardRC break in is completed. Apparently these are set very rich from the factory. Losi talks about tuning the high needle first... in one hour increments. I've adjusted it 18 hours so far. Still nice white smoke... sounding MUCH better toward the end of the last tank I rank thru today. Great acceleration, no blubbering up thru the full RPM range... If I drove my Slash like I drove this today... I'd have been rolling it all day, even with the LCG. Unreal how hard this buggy is planted. Should you put in after run oil after EVERY run? Is 3 days too long to sit between runs? Plan on running it Sunday and Tuesday at two different tracks. Thing starts on first or second pull... assuming I remember to pay attention to the throttle trim position, and not flood it.

Because that’s what it’s called, probably more of an English term. American English calls it idle. The term tick over comes from the old engines that used to tick due to the valves.

@@guinnessdublin4669 I asked if he meant down payment for the 1 crown gear. And the response was back that's a high dollar item and others in the past have ordered parts and never come to the store to get them. Well in my personal opinion I did no wrong so why am I penalized 🙄

Kevin Talbot is good with Nitro cars. And our first carnage was £129.99 from active scale models.

@@HaggardRC then you got a very good deal or a really rubbish nitro car, HPI rush Evo used to sell at about £180 back in the day. Kev has got a lot better with nitro cars after help from Mick Craddock from Kyosho

@Luke-en2tk He has always been better than he makes out, clumsy stupidness makes for good views… more than if he was sensible. What we see is his character he plays for his videos. And he does it well. In real life he’ll be a lot better than we think he is.

I know those red cats have small engines so it probably is something similar.
