Ruta Lee has a huge body of work in film and TV. About a year earlier, she had a key role in Witness For The Prosecution, alongside Marlene Dietrich and Tyrone Power. Also in this excerpt is Don Gardner as Schroeder. This was one of his last roles as he perished in a road accident later that year (1958) at age 26. Playing Mr Davis in the last couple minutes here is none other than Philip Ober, who was a ubiquitous face on TV from the 50s to the 70s, and the real life husband of Vivian Vance. Both Gardner and Ober made guest appearances on I Love Lucy a couple of years earlier, in separate episodes.

Ruta Lee was quite lovely in her day. Loved her when she did High Rollers in the mid-70's when she was in her 40's and her host was a young Alex Trebek. She's now in her 80's, and, I guess, she hasn't lost a thing. Well, maybe her looks may have changed a little. Thanks for posting.

Oh boy - lots of meaningful looks and conversational pauses here...a man might get suspicious. (And that's the problem with watching these short clips of old TV shows; you never will find out what this was all about, or who killed who.)
