It looks like it leaves a lot of air gaps around the bottom. Don't you need to keep the cold draft off of the plants?

This kit does include air vents on the side of the tunnels which provide less protection than solid plastic in colder temperatures. After testing these tunnels, I would advise getting plastic covers for low tunnels that do not have vent holes to better protect plants. Row covers can also be draped over the tunnels to protect strawberries on cold nights. --Bill Hlubik, Professor/ Agricultural Agent 1
