You see, anytime I learn of a new release by Ruth, I'm excited to see it. Why? Ruth doesn't release movies anyhow, but when she does you will know it was worth the wait. Her movies would entertain you but rest assured that you will learn a lot. Her movies are centered around issues we face in our individual lives and families. From this movie, you can see that because a man got you pregnant doesn't always mean you both must get married especially if you're not in love with each other. Don't get me wrong, some marriages like that work out in the end but how about those that turn out to be a disaster? Another thing I have learned is the effect that family pressure can have on a person (pressure to get married, pressure to give birth, etc). Another thing is the effect that a broken home can have on a child or children as the case may be. Truth is, we all need God's help to make the best decisions for ourselves and those around us. Wow, I have been so impressed by an awesome writer such as yourself. I am a native born American woman who have experienced the same situation with my father. You brought this situation up for conversation because to many men do their children like this. If they are done with their mother then they are done with the child and that’s not fair to the child who is caught up in the mess of their parents. Everybody played their roles well especially the daughter. I loved that she was able to express herself without getting slapped in her face. The biological father was horrible however the mother found a man to take the father place. I loved the way the daughter brought the mother and the mother’s friend together to make it a prefect family. You have a message in all of your movies. You should come and write for the big screen and for television here in America because they are missing the point of good messages that need to be discussed here in America. It’s sad that this is happening everywhere.

This is exactly what I went through as a child and even more. The only difference is there was no replacement. I grew up without a father figure, I’m 25 now but I still feel it most times 😢. I hate father’s days😢 all these makes me see all men like my dad, if he was dead it would have been better but he’s still alive and still don’t want to see us. This movie just brought back memories. This Movie walks in my soul, because it plays out my life right before i met my husband. For 11yrs I lived with the pain of my daughter trying to fit in her dads life.. like every time it will be a fight between us. We couldn't come to one understanding about the fact that her dad had a family and was never looking our way. But When God provided a husband and a father for us... My daughter don't even care about him that much any more and am glad I have the peace of mind that my 15yrs old princess is save with my husband and I.

Riveting movie but not because of the entertainment value...neither was it because of the hauntingly beautiful soundtrack. I can't believe how many elements of the movie resonate with my personal experience. It's like strands of my life paraded before me - from the emotionally unavailable ex to that declaration at the end "l'm tired of being a single parent". These words struck a cord so deep... before I knew it, I was sobbing silently. Ruth's movies are therapeutic - they stir up a range of emotions. Certain things about this movie seemed so real - I literally winced whenever her crazy ex appeared. He's the personification of my ex - just spot on! Keep up the good work guys , just brilliant!😍

Well scripted and exquisitely acted , so much to learn , the agony of a single mum , the ripple effect of missing father figure , emotional trauma of longing to be with the acclaimed father that was never there . Highly inspirational for anyone going through daunting issues of dysfunctional home . The little girl almost made me to shed tears , her antics and encouraging words to the mum was so touching . My father did the same to me and I am pretty 35 Years old and he never show up with love. I get married and have a baby girl and he wasnt there. I cry every week since I dont know but... my baby girl go to school near of his house but heyyy he never loved me and That hurt me so bad. He abandoned me when I got 2Years.
