I agree. She calls it a review but barely used the bag. And gave a lot of statements that said she didn’t do any research on the bag. She didn’t even know what the lining material was. She said it looks bad as a backpack which, I personally totally disagree with, and she clearly doesn’t like the look of the bag so of course she keeps saying it doesn’t looks good (why would buy a bag she doesn’t like the look of). She doesn’t research whether it can fit a Mac. And she’s not even the intended user of the bag (clearly ppl who carry a bag around, often in public transport, for work) yet she never acknowledges that. I have seen plenty videos weighing the pros and cons of the bag and this by far the worst and most jaded review I’ve seen. It’s embarrassing that ppl think they’re getting such outstanding quality from LV and Chanel when they’re just getting glorified plastic and good plated hardware, I honestly just think she’s brand obsessed and refuses to believe anyone can enjoy anything that’s not luxury designer.

The leather is hard as hell on these bags I sent both of the ones I bought back. They feel like Michael K quality but it’s the price point that isn’t accurate. I think this was a fair review.

@@christiecruz6987 I imagine they picked a firmer leather so that it stays rigid, it’s meant to be a structured bag. This isn’t really the style of bag that someone would want to become slouchy over time. Once again my main problems with the review is that she calls the bag unattractive but never liked the look of it (why would anyone buy a bag they don’t like and then blame the creators for it???), doesn’t have a lifestyle that meets the intended purpose of the bags features (complains the bag is hard to get into which is an intentional antitheft feature for public transportation), and complains that the quality is too bad for the price (LV is plastic that costs thousands. I don’t know how anyone could say they care about bag materials but claim a plastic bag is worth more than ANIMAL LEATHER). So I stand by my statement that she literally only bought a bag she disliked to tell people she disliked it.

Naturally, people have different preferences and some attributes that I saw as negative might look positive to someone else and that’s totally cool! LV can look tacky depending on how it’s styled, definitely, especially now that more people own the canvas pieces the “luxury” feel of LV has decreased greatly. I love LV canvas, especially SLG’s though 😂🤣 if you like the more toned-down look also check out Coach! Their quality is great and they look low- key and classic - prices are reasonable too 🙂

How is that different from a company intentionally paying people with a platform to only say nice things about their items? Lol. I don’t buy things with any negative intentions, as many others I’ve seen some feedback online that doesn’t seem genuine and wanted to try the bag for myself - this is what I genuinely thought upon trying it out. I think her ‘job’ is to buy the products vs. feeling any duty to help a brand who sends a product, especially one with almost a $1k price. Yes, she did not use it, but it doesn’t take rocket science to know that a skinny strap that’s heavy and uncomfortable fir a minute will be uncomfortable for a commute. That being said, I was gifted this bag, and will probablykeep, maybe buying a cushion to wrap around handles/strap, lol.

Also, nothing about this video seems like an intentional slam to hurt a company’s sales. It seems like an intentional commitment to assist people who are spending their hard earned money.

Finally the response I was about to give. You can buy, use and be factual. Let others make up their minds. Buying just to trash is odd. I own 3 of their bags. 2 mini and 1 midi maestra. I like that they are secure and I use for errands and can run in the rain without worrying about my bag. I am a mostly prada, lv, gucci, givenchy girl but recently tried Senreve and Polene. No regrets. However, I recommend not buying Senreve at full price. Shop their revival sale which comes up every half year. If lucky, can score 70% off.

Yes. I was just gifted the regular maestro bag this morning. Fits the 13” MacBook Pro fine with even enough room for a skin/cover that I really want to add to it. I was given the dark teal/green which is gorgeous. But the thought of the skinny straps not being comfortable is a bummer. I do think I want to keep it tho because my hubby gave it to me and it looks sharp imo. I might look fir soft strap cushion accessories, and just use it. I wish it were slightly bigger tho because it feels like my hand will be hitting the zipper a lot. Oh well. It is very pretty. I do worry that over time the strap will be unable to hold up and the weight could pull strap connection area away from bag…. I’m going to see what warranty or how company will stand behind it all.

Hi! So the same price range within most Luxury brands like Louis Vuitton or Chanel would only get you Small Leather goods (card holders, wallets, tiny bags). BUT - you could check out Goyard! The Saint Louis Tote is underrated in my opinion and you could get one on the pre-loved market for around $900! They come in so many colors and fit a ton. Also Saint Laurent makes beautiful totes that would be perfect to use as a work bag for around $1,000. Within the brands you mentioned, the closest would probably be the Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM tote which retails for around $1,600 or the Chanel Deauville tote in the smaller size that retails for $3,300 (I have one and love it but it’s a cloth material so probably wouldn’t be the best for everyday use). I would also consider more affordable brands for a work bag like Tory Burch! I have the Perry Triple compartment tote ($348) in the classic orange color and I’ve been using it for about 2 years and it still looks like new!
