Fanya Mambo Kinuthia and Mark Bichache are mostly spot on. Incredible analysis and insights, folks 👍🏾👍🏾👌🏾In this case, Bichache made his case, albeit more naively, but in this case Kinuthia Fanya Mambo emerged 10-nil.

Apparently, bichache is still enjoying US money, or is very uninformed. That's why he support the idea that the trip will benefit Kenya. Kinuthia appears to more knowledgeable. If the US aim is the economy, then why was there a rush to push military agreement rather than economic agreements?

Hiyo hesabu ya Fanya Mambo is not mathing. Airlines have classes and all seats are not the same. Business class seats are a small fraction of the seats but pay for more than half the total cost for a flight. In KQs case, to charter the flight can cost almost $850k with current fares. If the same plane is used for internal flights, KQ has to calculate the revenue lost taking it out of schedule and pass it on. Turn around time for a KQ plane that lands in NYC is less than 6 hours.

You also need to remember that the express way from jkia had been promised to Kenya eay back around 1983/1985 by the Americans and their world bank . It is not until the Chinese appeared and made that dream possible, the only thing the Americans are able to deliver without a blink is the junk helicopters and the junk personnel carriers
