Revengeance actually is a real word, although it's like flammable/inflammable - it means the same thing as vengeance so it's basically never used, and it sounds silly when it is.

games haven't really changed that much in terms of tech from 2012 to 2022, compared to from 2001 to 2011. I think a lot of older gamers (younger gen X and older millennials) are going to have to re-evaluate their ideas of how old old is for games. like back when they were teens you could see huge advances in what games can do in only a few years, but nowadays there's not really smooth that dramatic, it's more small incremental changes

@@Graknorke well the video i mentioned, touch that point, comparing a modern game (Back 4 Blood) with and older game (Left 4 Dead), in there we can see all the problems that are present in games lately, and that comparison can be apply to alot of franchises right now and you will see the same symptoms

@@Graknorke it's true that it's not as dramatic as it was in the 360 era, but just look at relatively high end 360 games like Halo 4 and compare it to developments of 2022 like Unreal 5 Engine. The difference is still staggering.

In Raiden’s mind he probably thought that repeatedly hitting Armstrong would wear down his defense. Raiden’s best quality is his speed, so to try and just hit Armstrong harder probably would’ve just worn Raiden’s out quicker.

A fine little detail is the first time Raiden attempted the flurry of blows the button smash is your light attack (X on xbox controller), the second time it is heavy attack (Y), so Raiden is indeed trying harder at similar or faster speed

@@ericlin7775 Yeah and you can see Armstrong literally doesn't move in response to the light attacks but his torso kind of recoils in response to each heavy attack, with the climactic hit actually pushing him back and making him slide across the hull of the Excelsus

@@connorclemmons8698 well it's true, when he gets the sword that's how he wins (also because he actually has a sword and it's a good one) since he has to wear down armstrong's nanomachines. i feel like sam's more speed and raiden's more power since sam beat armstrong by cutting off his arm before the nanomachines could react whereas raiden just beat the fuck out of them

@@dankerbell Also consider [DLC SPOILER] that Sam was able to cut nano Armstrong's arm off just by timing his cut right. The Murasama can be swung faster than the nanomachines can coalesce.

Never seen a chat so in sync singing lyrics and quoting so many scenes from a game before this. It was a pretty amazing experience.

Not to mention that at the start of the Excelsus fight when Pomu went to lower down the volume, EVERYONE was telling her to turn it up instead. Shame she didn't see as the chat was frozen at the time and she had to fix it.

@@denkerbosu3551 If it weren't for the auto-parry feature, I would've doubted if Pomu could get past Bladewolf. Still, it was fun to see her enjoy the game.

@@denkerbosu3551 helped her mainly with the accurate cuts of blade mode, since they make the hit boxes much larger, the auto parry not so much since it isn't as rewarding on low difficulties, without mentioning we don't have sam making those crazy sword moves, makes the game more enjoyable to anyone who wants to play but doesn't go well with that kind of game

She was actually a genius for playing on easy as she didn't die often and maintained hype throughout the stream. Dying in the middle of a boss fight and then repeating it would suck for immersion.
