Formula 1 Jaguar R5 V10, Boss GP at Zandvoort!

The Boss GP series at Zandvoort, with Formula 1 cars like the Jaguar R5 (V10) from 2004 and the Benetton B197 (V10) from '97.
The Benetton has a 4000cc Judd V10 engine, not the Renault F1 engine.
Also lots of different GP2 (V8) and World Series by Renault cars (V6).

Danke Shon! Das einzige, was diese Serie braucht, ist mehr schnell Formel-1-Autos. Klaas Zwart der Besitzer und Fahrer des Jaguar gewinnt zu leicht! (Thanks! The only thing that this series needs is more fast Formula 1 cars. Klaas Zwart the owner and driver of the Jaguar wins much too easily!)

So basically all cars are F1 here, but only the Jaguar uses authentic V10 F1 engine and the others have aftermarket Judd V10 installed, correct? I've seen the old F1 cars are often offered with the aftermarket V10 Judd engine as a solution to make them go fast. I guess the parts availability and possible price is the reason many guys go with the Judd V10.

The main reason for all the Judd's is that most ex-F1 cars does not come with any support for the necessary software needed to run the engine. So instead of trying to work out the engine management software it is easier get a Judd with support available.

Actually most of the cars in the video are old GP2/F2 cars and I’m pretty sure they’re still using the original engines. The only two authentic F1 cars are the Jaguar R5 (with original engine) and the Benetton B197 (Judd V10).

The Jaguar is driven by fellow Dutchman Klaas Zwart. He is the founder of Ascari supercars and I believe this BOSS series. He is a very rich man and also owns his own circuit in Spain! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/erSnZMR1s6jPYKs.html I believe all drivers are rich people who enjoy driving a single seater instead of playing golf. :P
