It's kinda funny, Pokemon continues to do tins like this with a promo at the front of the tin, but Yu-Gi-Oh moved away from them. I'd really love if we'd get tins like this again, like a February/March release compared to the August/September Mega Tin release. Favorite one though has to be Cyber Dragon!

I like the idea too but the thing is cards would get damaged or warped for being in there too long maybe that’s why they stopped? 🤷‍♂️

The loss of those things is likely the result of cost cutting. Solid pieces with no plastic cut outs etc. would cost less to mass produce. Pokémon is somehow - despite spitting in everyone's faces constantly - still a nearly 100 billion dollar franchise. TPC could buy YGO for twice it's value and would still have so much money left they would continue to be nearly 20 spots higher than Yu-Gi-Oh is on the list of top earning franchises (it would move from 1 to 6 and Yu-Gi-Oh is barely top 25). And since 2020 the quality control here is going down with every release so they have more things to worry about than the stupid packaging at this point.

Hamon was my favorite, Uria was my brother's, and Raviel was my dad's back in the day. Good memories from seeing all these tins opened again. 😭

I love the Cyber Dragon tin, but the Elemental Hero Neos is pretty insane! That secret rare Neos is pretty sharp.

Man it hurts to see the not so great pulls from these GX tins 😭 it makes them not quite as worth opening as 5DS tins, since those have 1st Ed packs from rarer sets. But my fav 2006 tin has to be Neos as it was the only one I had from my childhood! Thanks for doing this opening so we can feel the nostalgia!

I also hated those tins because the terrible pulls you got. Had Cyber Dragon's and Hamon's ones and never got a single foil. Just a treeborn frog or something.

@@JulioLenin88 I bought the Flare Wingman and Neos ones back in the day. I got pretty shit pulls other then cyber barrier dragon and some neo-spacian card. Might have gotten skyscraper but can't remember. The best tin I ever got was the rocket warrior tin and the dark magician girl tin's that came out in 2005 or so, I can't remember. I actually pulled an ultimate rare out of those, it was Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast. Not a very expensive card but was still cool to get imo.

The neos tin is a killer!! I remember when I was a kid and used to get Kaiba and yugi decks and play with them until they fell apart, even though they hold such a high value now they’ll always be worth more than money to me ♥️

The cyber dragon is hands down the best tin. Back in the day buy 3 of those and you have a pretty solid start to a deck.

Maaaaaaaaan, 2006 was the peak of Yugioh in my school, my friend got a Uria tin, so playboy. We barely could buy packs at the time and the dude buys a tin. Thanks for the memories, bro GLHF

Favourite tin, was definitely between the Elemental Hero Neos tin and the Elemental Hero Shining Flare Wingman tin, love everything to do with Elemental Heros tbh

Neos and cyber dragon were the only 2006 tins I knew about. Cyber dragon is definitely my favourite one although every single one of these seems hype in terms of promos

Mine has to be Hamon, lord of striking thunder! It was the first ever tin I got and it makes it even more special that Santa Claus brought it to me 🤣 I got it for Christmas that year and I was ecstatic. Love the videos dude, keep it up :)

Man i swear you brought back my childhood Raviel Uriah Hamon but i loved Cybernetic Revolution and all the fusions goddamn Cyberdragon, Tempest it was so much better than todays cards i remeber walking everday after school in the lil store where i hang out for countless hours buy packs and trade cards until im sadisfied

The much anticipated 2006 Tin Opening! Crongrats on 90k, told you I'd be seeing you at 100k soon when you started the grind!! Your content is exactly what I look for when searching Yu-Gi-Oh content on KZfaq. My Favorite Tin is Cyber Dragon since I had just pulled a 1st Edition CRV Cyber End Dragon. It was my only copy of cyber dragon unfortunately. Classic With the Enemy of Justice days

So nostalgic for me, these were the first tins I ever opened back in 6th grade. I only opened 5 of the tins (missing Neos), but my favorite back then was Raviel since it was the first tin I ever opened. Also realized how lucky I was back then with my pulls, roughly 3 ultimates, 1 ultra, and maybe 3 supers.

My favorite is the Cyber Dragon's too. I don't like Elemental Heroes very much and I've never been a huge fan of Sacred Beasts, they always looked like Egyptian Gods bootlegs to me

The Lord of Searing Flames was always my fave growing up. I remember watching the Yu-Gi-Oh anime on TV when they had the duelist kingdom and seeing Slypher the Sky Dragon. Lord of searing flames always reminded me of that, so seeing this tin again has given me such a trip!

My favorite was the Uria Tin and promo card. The Uria's name was super off centered which made it cooler and who doesn't like a card that looks like Slifer. Awesome nostalgic video Ruxin!

I have to go with the URIA tin, I quit yugioh way back in the day and never got to go past beyond the original anime everything after that is new to me. But gotta say URIA is a beautiful card 👌🏼. these tins were interesting. I remember opening all of these but I never had any like nostalgia for em. The 2007 (mostly the pegasus one) and 2008 tins (synchros are still the goat mechanic to me) is where my nostalgia starts to flood in anyway, my favorite tin is the Cyber Dragon one. I was huge on machine decks for like all of my yugioh life back then. Machines were my favorite deck until Zombies got really fun around the time Plaguespreader game out

Now this is fun! I haven't seen any of these tins open before, or around this place. I love that Cyber Dragon Tin for sure, that's my favorite with Neos being my second favorite! I've gotta say I preffer god cards. And the pulls were pretty fun today! Tins can be rough, but still really nice!

Honestly, the levels of iconic that cyber dragon has, i would 100% choose the cydra tin as my favorite. Congrats on the ulti pull in the Uria tin though best tin pull wise this one I'd say. Love the content Rux and hope you hit 100k soon!

I remember seeing the Cyber Dragon tin at Walmart and sneaking it on the line at the register lol. I think my dad actually liked the look (kind of an 80s retro cyber-style) and didn't make me put it back. One of my favourite tins of all time.

One of my first major online purchases with my own money as a child were the Cyber Dragon, Neos and Raviel tins. Ironically, the Cyber Dragon tin I was able to pull a Cyber Dragon super and a Cyber Twin super. Best tin I’ve ever opened 👍🏻

I remember using my yugioh tins as pencil boxes because I would put ALL of my cards on binders. I had like different binders for different rarities and had them in alphabetical order. The cyber dragon was definitely my favorite tin.

These tins are pretty cool! I never really payed too much kind to these tins, but my favorite one would have to be the Hamon Tin! I loved the Winged Dragon of Ra, so that yellow color love transfers over to that tin and the promo!!

My favorite got to be the Raviel tin, amazing artwork and remember getting one when my dad picked me up from boy scouts summer camp. Amazingly kept all the cards in decent condition. This was an amazing trip down memory lane!

My favorite 2016 is the elemental hero Neos! I’ve been the biggest Neos fan since their release! Takes me back to my childhood, and is such a fun archetype to play!

They made the packaging so good to protect your promo from being damaged that you may end up damaging it to get it out of the upgraded packaging. lol

My favorite tin is the elemental hero shining flare wingman. Ahh so nostalgic. I remember back in the days it is so hard to collect those elemental heroes mostly clayman and burstinatrix/burstlady, they are really hard to find even the common cards. I have collected a bunch of avian, bubbleman and sparkman but only 1 each of clayman and burstinatrix, but sadly all of my collections where lost due to a fire accident ☹. I am slowly getting back to collecting hopefully i could find some nowadays.
