RADIANT HEAT!!!! You'll love it if you came in cool or gold places. And if you are at an electric hook-up site, you'll get heat in the coach for "free".

Love it. Really nice to have help. Heated floors???? Window boxes,,, hard to match the oak. I would go neutral between the walls and flooring to tie it all together. Gray or grayish blue maybe. Get your design crew right on that. Can’t wait to see this project happen. I did my 96’ Trek 2830 down to subfloor with hydronic radiant floor most amazing upgrade ever.

Nice to hear your thought process relating to the durability and aesthetics of your coach due to your use at the track. The angle pattern for the floor is unique, be different.

There is always at least one dislike...? I don’t get it. I love these videos. I can’t imagine getting into motorhome ownership without these videos for owner tips, upgrade ideas and just what is involved with RV’s. Keep them coming. Like the variety.

I like the "V" floor someone below mentioned. Same 45 degree angle with the return. Probably less waste material that way as well.

Gosh I hate scraping up tile and then smoothing out the old hard thin set to put down new floors. Not to mention the dust and mess made when you do it. Im making an offer on a mid to late 90s Country Coach this morning and it needs floors and I had been thinking about it all weekend. Perfect timing video!

I just got back from Quartzsite they had a 06 Magna that needed some love, the couch was worn out, the outside lights were broken I hope if someone buys it they take it to Premier for a restoration

You’re going to town there. Running the floor at a 45 is going to look good. Some of those end cuts in strange shaped places are going to be a PITA. It will be worth it in the end. Pulling the carpet out of mine and putting the waterproof vinyl down made it so much easier to clean in there. Looking forward to seeing it finished.

Brian! I think the 45 degree look is going to be fabulous! BUT it is going to be VERY labor intensive and wastes a lot of material. So with that said: I recommend you use absolutely the best flooring product possible. This is no time to CHEAP out! Check with all the flooring supply houses, this is no time for "Big Box" Stores. Your going to do a lot of work here, use the best! Thomyt

With the grey flooring it's gonna be hard to make out the 45d, make sure u put underlay down first.they make a self stick that's easy to lay,

Hi Brian, well here’s my opinion, looks like your choosen flooring has grey in it, and your driver/passenger chairs are mostly grey with a bit of black, looks like all your existing window valances are material covered? If so the top pattern is very dated looking, the sides n bottom solid colour looks like more blue than grey, I would definitely recover those window valances bringing in a shade(s) of grey colour that is in the flooring, as you do not have blue in the new flooring. If going with any pattern material, go easy on black in the material. Any valances that are wood, matching your cupboards leave be at this time. Now something I’ve not seen before, Andrew Steele your buddy just did a walk through on a 2022 winnebago journey prototype a couple days ago, the most simple window treatments I have seen in a MH, and it looks good in my opinion. Would be very easy to do! Go look! -it’s an idea. But you may want to install roller blinds then too. And yes I too think the flooring laid on that diagonal is going to look great! Cheers 🍻

Diagonal be good . More trimming but nicer then usual straight. Like to know how many pieces couches became to get out the door. Nice idea for steps, more durable than paper or plastic tape

Hello Brian, love this remodel, it will answer many questions for those of us that would like to DIY. I would appreciate any info on seat belt anchor placement. Are there existing places on both driver and passenger side for adding seat belt anchors to a couch or love seat? My 2007 CC Inspire coach currently has a desk and chair in the passenger side and I would like to replace with a jack knife couch with seat belts?

I like 45 degree layout.. Where is the water coming from?

I have a 08 Newmar and want to do the same floor replacement, but the slides have rollers that roll on the floor and don't know if it will damage the new floor. I would hate to go thru all that work to replace the old carpet and tile and then to have the slides damage the new floor. OBTW use the same type of flooring tour using. Renard

Are you going to put heat mats down for heated floors?

How were you able to get the couches out of the coach? I was under impression you had to remove the windshield.
