So is there going to be a spinoff called "My Little Homestead RV" following Bree and Jared as they go travelling? The 5th wheel is looking great and I have to give mad props to Jared! I think it'd be daunting enough to gain Dad-Gary's approval (and Mom-Shelly's approval and the rest of the family's) but I think Jared has most likely gained the whole mylittlehomestead youtube family's approval.

In my Mom's RV, my sister put painted sheet metal for the fridge panels, so she can collect magnets from the places she travels. Looks great, too! Chalkboard-painted sheet metal? That would take it to a whole other level.

That's a great idea. The only place for a magnet in my 5th wheel is a stove hood. My grandchildren keep wanting to put magnets on my fridge. 😏

There's also magnetic paint that you use first and then the chalkboard paint (that comes in many colors including, no color - clear).

Bree, you and Jared are so perfectly matched. Your RV is looking so nice. I can picture white cotton eyelet curtains in the bedroom with white wicker bedside table and a lighthouse picture on the wall. It's incredible the talent you and Jared both have at making/remodeling/ building things. He's definitely a keeper. So glad to see you so happy.

Just a little tip for paint cans, if you take a flat blade screwdriver and made about 4 holes in the groove around the top of the can, the paint will run back into the can and you will not have paint filling the groove and running down the sides, this allows for the lid to fit securely.

What a great video! I love the blue that you all chose for inside, it turned out amazing! Jared, you did a superior job on that flooring. Also, Bree, you truly got blessed. When I see you and Jared together…….the energy, the positivity, the light that you all bring out of each other is so beautiful. If you haven't already done so, I suggest you DON'T trim the windows. The rounded corners make it almost impossible to get exact measurements and you don't want to be making even MORE holes in your walls than what's already there. Besides they look fine as is.

Almost wish you guys could disassemble the two couches and build a custom one in the space... Love the paint! It is a cool shade! It goes well with that laminate flooring! Using 120 grit paper and following with 220 grit will make for a smoother finish on the paint surface, good call! Looking forward to your future adventures together!

A lot of that removed from the camper will make it lighter and easier for that truck to pull it if you can keep it as light as possible

Bree and Jared you need to make a Google docs to get recommendations for places to see. I can recommend so many local places I have been to. Local parks, rivers, and things to do. Cause for sure one place fun to go would be Holiday World in Santa Clause, IN. Soooo fun!!

for your bathroom you should use a moisture resistant paint for bathrooms, butter cream yellow would be your beach sand

Hey Bree I have a suggestion about bedding for your new camper. In order to avoid crawling all around the floor to put on a fitted sheet, I just toss a blanket over the top of the mattress and then sleep on that with a loose sheet above it. Saves SO much time making the bed and much less crawling.

I'm glad I was able to watch this video today. Usually, I don't get to see them until the day after they've been released. I LOVE the blue y'all chose. Bree and I were totally synched with the same reaction which totally hilarious. Bree, you are so totally reminding me of Shelly. When Jared's around, you keep saying things when you're talking to him that Shelly says to Gary. It's so freaking cute. I love it!! The blue paint with the faux light wood floor looks so beachy... like Bree's remodel on her house. Nice. Chip was so cute and excited about everything. I kept coming up with nicknames for Chip - the Chipster, Chipmiester, Chipper. What's going to happen with Eugene while the 3 of you are on the road? Just wondering.

Maybe a child hid the spoon from a parent. Back in the day, the wooden spoon was the mother's "keep 'em in line" tool. Your fifth wheel looks great. It's just about the same as our first fifth wheel. Fun times.

Hola amigos - a couple of pointers, use caulking instead of mud because it dries fast and you don’t have to sand or worry about cracks later. I use caulking for non-Sheetrock surfaces all the time when I flip houses. It’s a time saver. For a larger crack put the caulking on the spatula and spread. Also be careful how much weight you add to the Trailer, like a couch and heavy plywood. I know Bree and familia you guys are very creative so think outside the box for common comforts that you love in a house and still want in the trailer. I have seen and heard horror stories of people ruining their truck because of the heavy trailer. For example, use patio furniture pads for the bottom and dress with throw pillows for the sides. If you spill anything on them, they clean up easily. Wrap the wood underneath with a fabric that you can staple gun it with. If I can think of anything else, I will let you know. Love you guys Muchos. ❤️🤜🤛🙌🏼💃🏻🕺🏻

Jared is a perfect fit in your family! He's a worker, Bree's a worker! Your trailer will be gorgeous! If you end up not liking the couch color, you can paint It! It looks like it's in great shape! The blue should go on your ceiling and then paint some clouds. When you wake up you'll be looking at the sky.

I am so impressed with the two of you!!! Great team work, planning and it's going to be a grand home! Chalkboard paint over the upper door. On the lower door put a roll of cork/heavy cardboard use as picture gallery of places visited. Could get a simple acrylic/hard plastic and use it to cover on a hinge, so the pictures don't fall off. And that surface could double as a planner/note/dry erase board. ( Double function front of both doors if the upper is metal before chalk paint).

Oh really nice that you found a big wooden spoon. It made me think of the marriage love spoon used in celtic traditions. Such a lovely symbol, of love & care for one another. It is looking beautiful really. If you are hesitating to paint the ceiling, don't hesitate :) it will give it that final touch, and make it look brand new and so clean. With a roller.it goes really quickly. Best wishes you guys look awesome working together toward your goals

FYI..💙 I've rolled paint on lots of stucco. You just use a deep pile roller nap. Just grab the thickest, fluffiest nap in the store. I commented this way back when you were building Bre's room. I'll add it to a couple videos and hope you see it, you know now that you have all is the buildings painted😉

The RV is coming along nicely. I thought that blue paint was way too bright when I saw it in the can but on the wall it looks fresh and light :) It is nice to see Jared is getting more comfortable talking to the camera about what he is doing. I will be hanging out to see more next week!

bree i have to stop you on the rollers on stucco. i painted off and on for 25 years and couldnt tell you how many textures ceilings i rolled or stucco walls. the animal you need is a long nap sleeve sometimes galled a german sleeve or other things but it has a 1/2 inch nap compared to the normal 1/4 or 3/16.....word of warning on theese roll slower or wear a lot of it . that amount of paint on an extension pole after 8 hours will cause discomfort and rsi over time. thanks for the videos

I love what your doing with your fifth wheel. Are you going to have Shae make your curtains for your RV? Remember to put a backing on the material to make it more substantial and it will keep the light out better and the warmth and the coolness when you need it. I love the idea of the chalk board paint on the refrigerator. Are you going to take Chip your dog with you two? Congratulations to you both again. I wish you centuries worth of love!

You could build yourself a bench seat with storage in the arms (a drawer or two, or even shelves to utilize the space). You could also use a weaving material as a way to get the cushion to your tushy if that's your goal. (I made one for my mother yearrrsss ago, it's gone now) You could also use a thick foam for the seat and back and use a really nice yellow fabric to cover the cushions and make a few throw pillows to go with it, one in blue and yellow stripes, a solid yellow one and a solid blue one (or even make them yellow on one side and blue on the other that way they are reversible) to make it all blend in, but of course that's just one idea. Of course it's your RV, but I do hope you don't mind when someone says that I feel that the loveseat is far too big for that spot. Again it's your RV and you do what you want. This is just my opinion and you can take it with a grain of salt. It's only a suggestion and not set in stone so to speak. :)

Bree, you can buy a piece of whiteboard from hardware store, and cut it to size for your refrigerator and freezer doors. If you start with a piece too big, share with the wee girls. Chalk is messy and some people are allergic. :)

I am so excited to watch the two of you start your new lives together it is so fun. My bedroom is a beach theme. I have shells and sand from all over in glass containers and picture that I diyed.
