The Saw Saw sucks for cutting down logs. I have the Ryobi brand and I carry an impact, drill, Saw Saw, circular Saw, chain saw, 2 fans and a hand vac. The blower is next on my list. We're in a 32 foot travel trailer and I tow with an extended cargo van. I've got ⅓ of the back of the van set up for tool storage, so everything has a home. Organization is key to living full time.

One more useful purpose for a leaf blower is to use it to clean your RV window screens "from the inside" - just blow all those dandilion seeds and other stuff out and away. - Cheers!

An Installation Driver is a great tool for an RV. Basically a small drill with interchangeable chucks. One chuck is a 1/4 hex for bits, one is a drill chuck, one is an offset driver and one is a 90 degree head; those last two allow you to get into tight spaces on the RV. Dewalt, Milwaukee, Makita, Bosch and probably others make them. Really handy for all the little screws and things in an RV.

I carry 95% of the tools suggest (thanks for sharing your tools) and I highly recommend a battery powered Saws-all. I carry a Makita Saws-all with pruning blades in case I come across a down tree or just need to cut wood in a pinch. I don't carry a circular saw as of yet, but I've been considering it. I also carry a Viair Compressor for tire inflation, but I just added a Makita air compressor for simple fill-ups like bike tires since the Viair takes a bit of work to hook up.

I do use a cheap endoscope for many different things. Finding the dump valves under the RV, looking for screws holding the fridge in place, how the fridge drain line is attached, looking under the kitchen counters at home to see where the screws and plumbing are so I can remove them. And yes I do have an issue with it staying attached to the phone.

Ryobi here, because that's what we had when we started fulltiming. (Otherwise, would definitely choose Dewalt!) I like carrying the impact drill, it does some things that the regular drill just can't. Also a fan if carrying a big socket set and breaker bar. Far easier to change a tire with the 1/2" socket. (Though I had to buy a deep well version for easier use.) Also a Ryobi work light. Sets on the ground or hangs up and runs quite a while for a project needing illumination. And I couldn't live without my Dremel tool! So many things can be done with that, like the oscillating tool.

I have the active VE52 and use it for our trailer. It’s fantastic. Especially paired with a foam cannon. You can use larger orifice tips to drop the pressure and reduce the risk of peeling decals. Paid it with a stubby gun and it’s even more versatile.

I've carried my Milwaukee 18v leaf blower for years now for the same reasons you have described. Great for the roof of the RV & surrounds. Along with my impact wrench, drill, sawsall (also doubles for my small chainsaw uses) and a couple of flash & area lights. All on the same battery system. Gotta get one of those Klien Thermo cameras though. .

Great video Jared. I have just one comment (or addition) to the rip-saw (saws-all). If you want to use it like a chain saw for larger pieces of wood, make sure you get a pruning blade (or several) for it. A fully charged battery, a pruning blade and a rip-saw goes through wood like butta! -lol

Great video Jared, the blower comes with adapter to fill inflatables, we used it to inflate oue kayaks and really worked fantastic. Most efficient inflator I have seen. Didn't sound like you have tried the 20 volt to 18 adapter, let me keep using all my 18volt DeWalt tools without changing out everything. That chain saw does an awesome job. If you need to use recip saw on limbs don't forget to get the pruning blades, another great product. You really hit me where I live with this video! Go DeWalt!

I like our Ryobi pressure washer. As pressure washers go it’s pretty weak but it works well for some light duty cleaning. Without being tied to a cord it goes everywhere I need it including down on the boat dock where I can drop a hose into the water and never run dry. But on a 4ah battery it doesn’t last long on HI; maybe 15 minutes continuous. It’s great for removing bug splats, mud sling, etc. without much danger of damaging the RV surface.

I use Ridgid cordless tools and love them because the they keep changing how the batteries connect line Dewalt does. Plus they have a lifetime warranty even for the batteries batteries. I can use my new lithium Ion batteries in my tools that are over 20 years old. I take a comoact drill and imactor set, inflator that has auto mode - turn the knob to set pressure and tab the teigger. And i have a 1/2inch impact wrench for changing tires and other heavy work loads.

When we go South for the winter I basically take all my power tools with us. Plus screws, pins, bolts, nuts, tapes and a hole host of other essentials too. Funniest thing is I saw this video where the guys said “ you are never that far away from a DIY store” true but I just like to have my stuff with me.

I have 11 chainsaws. The one I keep in my side by side is a Ryobi 40v. It's dependable and surprisingly good . I had a Ryobi 18v, but it wasn't much good. I carry Milwaukee for camping. Drill, impact, driver, grinder, and blower. Dewalt is actually my least fcamping. I have Ryobi, Dewalt, Milwaukee, and Bosch. I like battery tools. I haven't tried a pressure washer....yet.

Look at battery adapters. They let you use different brands of tools for cheap. I bought a blower from Harbor Freight for $29 and use a battery adapter. Would also let you use your old NiCad tools with the new lithium ion batteries.

Weird. I have a very similar collection in my trailer. I went with the Black & Decker Matrix as opposed to Dewalt. Admittedly, not as robust as Dewalt, but B&D Matrix offered swappable head units on the drill body. So, I've got a drill, impact driver, jigsaw, oscillating saw, reciprocating saw, mouse sander, air pump, a little trim saw, and router that all swap onto the drill body and everything stores very, very compactly. Adding onto that, I have a B&D circular saw, 10" chain saw, and leaf blower that use the same B&D 20v batteries. Then I found a B&D->Dewalt battery adapter, so my Dewalt angle grinder and vacuum also use the same B&D 20v batteries. I did try the B&D 20v pressure washer, but it was absolutely pathetic; so, its gone. Instead, I have a 120v Bosch EasyAquatech - its very well made, 1700 PSI and works very well; its almost as compact as the WORKPRO pressure washer. One important feature for me is that the Bosch can draw water from a water bucket (or bladder) and doesn't require a pressurized source. I did add an extra 20ft high-pressure extension hose so that I don't have to constantly move the base unit around when cleaning the truck/trailer/dirtbike. I am considering adding a weedeater to the toolkit for boondocking - there have been times when I'm at an unmaintained backcountry rec site where it'd be nice to trim down the weeds a bit.

Your oscillating tool looks like the Harbor freight one I have but your link goes to a Dewalt. The Harbor freights sell at around 20.00 and is a great tool. Use it a lot and works just as good as the expensive ones. In fact, for the person (Like me) that only uses them once in a while, Dewalt and other major brands are overkill. Harbor freight electric tools are great and WAY cheaper. That said, for the tools that I use more often, I do have a Makita (Cordless) impact wrench for lug nuts, a Drill and a Driver and sawzall.
