RVHaulers ishift I-shift Test Drive with Roy Zachariassen from Volvo Nortrux

Күн бұрынWe take a test drive with Volvo expert Roy Zachariassen from Volvo Nortrux in Calgary, Alberta. Roy shows us shifting in automatic modes, downshifting and engine braking. These trucks are starting to appear in the used market, and we are excited to be able to source them as RVhaulers for our class 8 conversions to pull your 5th wheel, toy hauler, or horse trailer. We see the difference between the economy mode and performance modes available with the ishift transmission. It is easy to see how fuel economy has been improved over other transmission options with the I-shift transmission.

one thing he forgot to tell about the manuall mode is that it will change up/down 1 if you press one time. 2 fast 2 , 3 fast 3 and so on. u can se on the display how many gears u can do at one time.

Does Volvo import the the FH Globetrotter, or the FM Globetrotter cabovers into Canada?

caredneck1 At this time they are not available. There has been some recent "test imports" of a few units, and they have been used in some specific commercial applications to see how they performed, but they cannot remain in N. America. At present, there are no parts, no diagnostic computers, and no trained technicians on those cab-over units.
