The second war smashed onto our screens bigger and better than before! The introduction of the new house robot Sir Killalot brought shock and awe to the wars. New presenter Craig Charles presents, Johnathon Pearce commentates and Philippa Forrester interviews the teams. The six combatants are Behemoth, Inquisitor, Razer, Elvis, Milly-Ann Bug and Bodyhammer..

"you made a robot that was flammable" Flammable robots are always good fun though. Nemesis/Diotor being the most memorable for me surely. Heck, they even made a thing of catching fire every time they showed up.

Always figured if I ever had the money to make a robot I'd give it a couple of strategically placed flammable bits that could burn and look awesome without impacting on performance. Are you allowed paraffin soaked Kevlar?

Weird that Razer, Milly-Ann Bug and Pussycat (then Bodyhammer) would all end up in the same seat two series later in Series 4!

If any robot could teach that lesson, it's Sir Killalot. He caught fire from Sgt. Bash almost every match the two were in.

Razer was already on the road to Robot Wars legacy after fantastic runs in the gauntlet and trial, Craig is so funny when he chats to the Inquisitor team lol. Elvis were lucky to pass the gauntlet this time but the 'King' reached like the same distance as last time! The Football trial was great fun, glad producers brought it back for series 2. Unlucky for Milly-Ann Bug though

Razer became my favourite in series 2. Mostly for its appearance... I also iked Panic Attack from Heat F :P

This is really interesting, I've been watchin all of series 1 and am now (obviously) on to series 2, never saw all of them you see. Lol, Inquisitor from Red Dwarf, Something crossed my mind; "Gauntlet" - which was the name of the glove that the inquisitor was wearing in that show and the name of the challenge here.

Razer's debut. Impressive. I think Elvis is the first flipper robot to actually have a good leverage angle on its flipper. But only being able to lift 150kg isn't very impressive, especially when you consider that the roboteers alwasy EXAGGERATE these numbers anyway. In fact, shortly after Johnathan Pearce contradicted them that it could only throw 50kg which isn't even enough to get most robots off the floor, even in these early years of light and featherweights. Y'know, Dead Metal really is a lousy goalie.

Man, it's neat to see razor this far back in the day. In the new season they got dunked hardcore like chumps. How the mighty have fallen.

Spoilers but... Yeah, they misjudged their opponent severely as the didn't stop the other robot's wheels pushing them along whilst pincered. At least they weren't unreliable!

Simon and Ian were at that point doing very well in Battlebots with Warhead so my guess is that they just entered Razor for shits and giggles just to take part.
