The one main negative of intel is still the idle power consumption which is pretty high. Even with all the power tricks it will still use around 37w at desktop.

@@mrman6035 you can fix it. check intel comunity post they have mentioned a clear article about it. i followed that. now my idle consumption is 5 watt to 17 watt. it was 35+ watt befor

@@mrman6035 So honestly, for me, 37 watts is nothing. Even if it drew 65 watts at rest, it's still not much for me.

@@mrman6035 My computer during gaming depends on the game draws from 150 to 450 watts and for me this is a small production consumption. And at rest it draws from 75 to 85 watts. And to me that's low power consumption too.

That is not a big jump in performance, when you upgrade you should aim for significant upgrades, something like a 6700 XT or 3070 (Can be better if your cpu is good enough)

What of course a 170 it's a a good deal if it's brand new you can see comparison on yt between those two it's a decent upgrade for 170

7600xt, 7700xt, 4070 are incredible upgrades for 1660ti. 6600, a750, 3060 are meh good upgrades.

Go for 3060 because in blender classroom rendering arc a770 it's lagging and if you come to proper 3d modeling and other this 3060 is much better And you can also search 3d rendering on a770 see the results and then take your decision it would be better And if your work is only video editing , photoshop I will recommend you a770 as it's performance is very close to 4060ti

Hard to say...which codecs you will be using? Which program? Resolution? And is your workload focused more for 3D or video editing? But i will go for 3060 even i usually defend Alchemist here i have little to no reason to do that if you using resolve H265/4 and creating a lot of 3D... whatever stuff 3060 is a clear choice but in case of AV1 well...i will get both of them or 3060+ RX 7600 which have AV1 encoders i think but you'll better confirm this somewhere else

not sure about 3060 but definiately it will perform better than rx6600, my recommondation is RTX 3060> ARC A750 > RX6600

Its more depends on ur cpu but any 12 gen cpu can get u 300+ fps
