This video is well done but I'd like to see the same thing with only HIGH settings not UTRA. Its been well understood for years now playing with Ultra settings has a huge performance hit with very little visual reward. All these video cards being tested have many more frames to dish out under High settings. The 6700 XT can do 4k quite well if you stay out of the Ultra settings.

why my test at FORZA HORIZON 4 in 1080p give me 130-135 fps, i had everything on ultra and i had almost the same config (5600x+gaming mx 5600 xt+16gb3000mhz), even ssr is on ultra, weird... nice video btw!

Yeah it's very weird. I also had a 5600xt and played forza, this benchmark here gave me 128 avg fps, close to yours. And I know for sure the 6700 xt is way better than the 5600xt. These tests look fake to me

Nothing is fake,this is result of rx 5600 mech oc, also you have more than 1 game in this test.

@@leandrofod It's really not that much better. In fact if it didn't have SAM it would hardly be worth the upgrade unless you were looking to play in higher resolution. The 5600xt is highly underated card for what it used to cost. $260 USD. Unfortunately that is no longer the case.

@@jasonmaxwell9762 well, if you are gonna up the resolution and keep framerate then ofc it means it is better. I can talk from experience now as I owned both. Not only did I go from 1080p to 1440p, my framerate in each resolution is also higher. Now imagine comparing both cards at 1440p, this margin would be way more blatant, of like 30% more performance over the other. I was lucky to buy my 5600xt back when it was cheap and sell it used recently for almost double the price, then a little more in to cop a new 6700 xt. It was worth the upgrade in my very case as I got lucky with timing. But still, the performance difference is huge, trust me. It's like comparing a 2060 to a 3070

My 5600xt has a Bios flash that runs at 2100mhz and performs close to a stock 5700xt. The 6700xt is not wayyy better. In fact its the same CU count as the 5700xt "40". The 5700xt has higher bus speed at 256 vs 192 on the 6700xt. Other than SAM and more RAM for higher res performance the card is not that much better. A 5700xt will perform about the same at 1080p. These test look pretty accurate for stock 5600xt. But 5600xt has the most performance gains after flash because the card came heavily nerfed from the factory. Its pretty much a nerfed 5700. If you unlock everything you get close to stock 5700xt performance. Of course the 5700xt and the 6700xt can also be pushed for better performance beyond stock. But the gains are not nearly as high as a 5600xt. Before the card spike the 5600xt was the best performance for the price if you flashed it with custom bios hands down at $280.

@@Aetherbound As I said before.. The 5600xt was the best value per performance for the price before the card spike about a year ago. You could could buy this card for $260. A 5700xt was still about 400+ still. A good flashed 5600xt will perform maybe 10-12 fps less than 5700xt. At 1080p. Non of this really matters anymore, because all these cards will now cost 600+ used. So yes now you might as well get a 6700xt if you can find one. New egg has them for about $1200 bucks for a card that is basically the new 5700xt that was $449 at launch. Do you understand my point? A 6700xt is not 3 times better than a 5700xt for 3 times the price. I was explaining that before the shortage the 5600xt was the best value per dollar. I mean if money is no object, obviously people prefer a better card with more Vram.

@@jasonmaxwell9762 I currently have a 5600xt. non oc, i've been looking to get a card with more vram, and one that will be good for game developing. I have also been looking at a 6800xt.

@@Aetherbound Well if you can find one. As I said New egg has stock but they are selling them for scalpers prices. For the price you are better off with 6800xt it is a much better card than the 6700xt. And there is not much more difference in scalper price. The 6800xt is best value. I have a very small case the Greeek A31 so I am limited by size. I would only be able to fit a 6600xt or 6700xt fighter model out if the new cards. Also if you already have a 5600xt it can be flashed to run alot faster. You just need to know the memory on the card brand. For example Hynix. Then you can get the right flash. Mine runs at 2100mhz and 1900ram. It will out perform a stock 5700 np. What brand of card do you have?
