RX-78-2 GUNDAM VS OPTIMUS PRIME (Transformers)
The epic battle between RX-78-2 Gundam vs Optimus Prime (Transformers) takes place in Grand Theft Auto V
The RX-78-2 Gundam (aka the Gundam or White Mobile Suit) is the titular mobile suit of Mobile Suit Gundam. Part of the RX-78 Gundam series, it was built in secret on Side 7. The Gundam would turn the tide of war in favor of the Earth Federation during the One Year War against the Principality of Zeon. The unit was primarily piloted by the series' main protagonist Amuro Ray.
Optimus Prime is the awe inspiring, powerful and compassionate leader of the Autobot forces. Originally a working-class civilian, he was chosen by the Matrix to command the Autobots, which was merely the first of a number of burdens he would be forced to bear - another being his unintentional relocation of the Transformers' age-old conflict to Earth. He is the complete moral opposite of his mortal enemy Megatron; every casualty, human or Cybertronian, soldier or civilian, weighs heavily on his spark.

I worked it out once. If you lay aside Mass Shifting, I think G1 Prime would come up to about the RX-78-2's knees. (Hilariously, this is just about the same size as a Kreo Minifig compared to a 1/44 Gundam) Even most Prime Super Modes wouldn't be all that big. You'd need a Titan to be in the same sort of ballpark. Maybe Star Convoy's about right, not sure.

In a real battle though, the Gundam would be 18 metres tall, with Optimus being a measly 7.5 metres in comparison. The RX-78-2 is more than 2 times the size!

Dragongamer 15 No, it's fact. Anyone who knows super robot shows knows the Gundam can squash a transformer. That and a Gundam has a Particle Rifle that is on the caliber of a space battleship. I don't think Optimus will win. That and the other Gundams can own Optimus.

Of course Optimus Prime would win... he's a Robot that defies all logic by getting life from a magical cube from space. ( Sorry I'm, not a big transformer fan so forgive my mistakes in series knowledge) while Gundam is a military machine with a set of ground rules in a fantasy world not a fantasy machine with no rules in our world.

It's from Earth to Jupiter, plus if you're gonna say butterfly effect can't destroy the matrix due to its made of some magical metal that can be disintegrate, then the power source of the turn A is literally a miniature controlled BLACKHOLE, which if Optimus were to kill it, will also die with it

Not only that an transformer could just get killed from normal modern weapons, but were talking gundams here they got powerful weapons,gears. And the transformers are really slow compared to gundams ( I know this has been a year but I meant later on in the series, jesus Christ..... and still concern about the light saber tho…)

Ralph Spotted Calf Nope. Optimus Prime with Matrix of leadership blasted multiple supernova with ease, Optimus Trained with the primes for millions and billions of years with hand to hand combat. Optimus Prime is capable of equipping the star saber that can cut mostly anything. He has double barrage canons also. Optimus Prime won’t lose to a man made giant robots who’s piloted by a kid

@@ralphspottedcalf2375 youre making the Texas sharpshooter fallacy dude. Claiming Transformers can be hurt by modern weapons in movies when there's 10 times as much evidence they do not. Optimus survived a country sized explosion in Autocracy and Megatron survived a planet moving explosion. Sixshot got stepped on by a multi billion ton city boy Metroplex and survived. Transformers went to the sun and survived. It's tantamount to saying Gundam are super robots by saying a few have super powers and ignoring the hundreds of real robot Gundams. Instead Transformers should be super robots and Gundam real robots based on preponderance of the feats given to them by writers.

Did not know these robots could swim under water well, kind of saw Optimus Prime as the stronger one, not much weapons usage though but Optimus truck drives on the Gundam at the end. Real epic also eh. Nice to see the new transformers shed light on where the robot genre was seeming to be just a tad on the side of Gundams not long ago. Good work on this it is not surprising the winner is Optimus with the new model. Gone are the days where Gundam have supremacy above all robots is what this video proves well, powerful wins for the Transformers do turn recent that tide between series as in their favor. Awesome.

Turn A gundam can use moonlight butterfly full power(only big gundam fans know that he has this)(Many years before Rolan discovered it),effect of full power moonlight butterfly is it will turn every matter in universe into a dust and create thousands of black holes that will consume everything except it Turn A because Turn A itself has black hole in its chest that can create negative force to resist its own power. Sorry transformer fans but no way of winning for you guys.😈😏
