"This Nu Gundam isn't just for show!"
It's been over two weeks since the RX-93ff Nu Gundam (based on the statue of the same name) mod was released. Now, it's time for the real deal from Char's Counterattack (the movie) to take center stage. In this mod, there are no parts being replaced; they're all brand new and purchased through the Parts Shop. For players familiar with Dark Souls III and Elden Ring modding, adding new parts here follows a similar process due to Armored Core VI running on the game same engine.
The funnels are... overpowered, to say the least. Not only do they deal obscene damage (moreso against a staggered target), but when charged practically grant you invincibility against most attacks. The shield bazooka and the beam rifle are much more balanced, by comparison.
Important note: Please make sure to make a backup of your save data, as there is a chance Easy Anti-Cheat might detect the new items once you return to online gameplay. From my experience so far, you're safe if you resell all the new parts before launching the game with EAC.

I apologize for the delay between the community post and the publishing of this video. Besides the obvious "YT is slow to process 4K", I wanted to make sure I filled the showcase with clips demonstrating the power of the funnels, both uncharged and charged. This resulted in multiple rendering revisions when I collected more clips than I imagined. For those wondering about the Sazabi at the very end of the video, yes, I now have basic knowledge on how to swap models from mod files to parts other than the ones meant to be modelswapped. That said, because of the incomplete nature of the Sazabi mod, Steel Haze Ortus will retain its default appearance during gameplay (unlike, say, the 00 Raiser Gundam mod), with the Sazabi only appearing in cutscenes. I love how not only do we have Gundam mods for this game but we also have at least one person who decided to go Full Lyran and cosplay as an Atlas and somehow made it through the game's bosses by accurately LARPing as an Atlas... Well most of the bosses, the Strider was too fast for an Atlas to actually deal with, it left the mission area before the Atlas LARPer could get close.

A fully functioning Nu Gundam in ACVI... it's so beautiful ;_; Also a funny thought: the Nu Gundam at 23m is over twice the height of your average AC. If the Nu was properly scaled, these fights would be hilariously easier than they already are.

The AAP03 Enforcer does look to be in the same height ballpark (if slightly more) as the Nu Gundam, so one can imagine how outrageous something that big can zip all over the place.

I think the funnels.are a bit too powerful, it looks like shottingnthe rifle and shield cannon is just something to do while they recharge, and not even needed

This mod is so cool! The only problem I have with it is how powerful the funnels are. Hopefully for the sake of the mod they have their damage reduced but for the AC6 modding community overall this has some serious potential!

It's fantastic mod for sure. But I would have made the rifle a 1 hit KO. Since in Gundam, with a beam rifle it's game over for one shot. Obviously I get it for balancing reasons. But if you're just using it in your single player experience, go nuts!

The Nu Gundam does carry a bazooka on its back as a secondary weapon. The hardpoint is closer to the center in the real deal, but it's there.

How to install?

For this mod, simply extract the .rar file anywhere, then run the "launchmod_armoredcore6.bat" executable found in the "ModEngine-2.1.0.0-rc1-win64" folder. You must be logged in to Steam before running the executable.

@@davidlanceescandor1310 My bad, I reread the mod and realized that it was valid only for Regulation 1.03. Since the game has now updated to Regulation 1.03.1, the mod is no longer supported and the author would need to update the mod. Your workaround for this is, of course, an older regulation.bin.

You know, technically, the Nu gundam should be at least the same height as an LC not an AC. Edit: A gundam mod without the beam saber? For shame.

Not really. The Nu Gundam is by its specs the same height as the Fire Giant in Elden Ring, it would absolute TOWER over every AC, MT, LC, and HC in the game. Hell, the Nu Gundam would basically be an epic boss battle in its own right.

@@StrikeNoir105E Nu Gundam would definitely dwarf the AC but the HC and LC are only a few meters shorter than it so they are still within Mobile Suit sizes. You are correct with it being as tall as the Fire Giant.
