I'll tell u why Derrick won. It was very close... going with Derrick is better for the sport. With him winning, the IFBB have their new Jay Cutler. He looks incredible..he is professional..he speaks well..and most of all, he is extremely marketable. They needed a poster boy..a poster boy who can string together a series of consecutive wins. It was so close that they could award him the title to fill this role and it wouldn't be seen as a robbery.

Great insight and analysis!!!!!!!!! I think you nailed the minutia behind the scenes. If it was a bench press, you just racked 450. If it was the Suzanne Summers Thigh Master, you just completed 100,000 non stop reps. And your inner thighs still aren't tired. If it was a set of donkey calf raises, you just performed 100 reps with a horse on your back. If it was a glute shot, you just displayed striated glutes ripped to shreds. If it was a proven shake, you just added 10 massive scoops of creatine. If your analysis was a chapter in the Bible, it would be Genesis 3:1. If it was a sun spot, it was a Corona Mass Ejection, spot on. Now let us pray 🙏 for more indepth insights from you. Thanks. And ❤️ CONGRATULATIONS.

Arnold once said, “it’s about size, proportion, the whole thing. Like a sculptor who slaps on some clay and says I need a little bit more deltoids to make the proportions right.” Yes, I do agree that Hadi should have won simply because Derek’s muscles are too young and smooth, very similar to how Big Ramy was in his early years. Yes Hadi was off with his hamstrings but so was Derek’s hams and slightly with his quads for Hadi and his triceps looked too small from the front but his muscle quality was 5 times greater literally than Derek’s smooth puffy like muscles. Finally as for size, both evenly matched other than Derek’s side triceps bigger and Hadi’s shoulders was bigger than Derek’s which I think deserves more points than triceps and I definitely did not like how when they called for the abs and thigh pose instead of flexing the abs Derek did a vacuum pose.

I haven't watched much of this before, but from the small clips I saw - Derek's front double bicep was far superior. His abs were symmetrical (the other two weren't). His legs looked superior. This was emphasized more by the fact that they were so huge proportionally to his tiny waste. His back was equal to Hadi. Am I wrong? I only saw the poses from the side, back, and front double bicep - but I would've chosen Derek as the winner. The only difference really was the height. If Derek was as tall as Hadi - it would be a no-contest for me.

@@Egolifter42069 I like Derek I just think Hadi did enough and was stuffed by the judges. Way better structure is going overboard. Hadi looks denser and stronger with a more aesthetic set of abs, obliques and serratus muscles. Derek is slightly wider and slimmer at the waist.

He wasn’t robbed, the condition wasn’t miles apart, but the fullness of Derrick was the decision maker there. Also what I will say is moving forwards, Derrick is a better ambassador for the sport. He is always polite, happy to talk to people, he will be doing everything he can to promote. Hadi and ramy were not what the sport needs. Samson, Andrew, nick they will all take the sport to new levels like Chris bumstead has done

Instead of having a line on the stage they should have a raised platform so you cannot step forward without stepping up onto the raised platform. It'd only have to be 6 inches high, it wouldn't hide anything other than their feet and it would stop people stepping forward

Regarding moving forward off the line... just have a camera focused on their feet, and if they cross the line, then they will lose a placing for that individual pose... so if they were graded as 1st, then the after the grading has been done, the camera would be checked, and if they were judged as position 1 for the back lat spread, then they will move down to 2nd... and so on for every pose... you don't need to disqualify the competitors for moving across the lines... just ding them a position for that pose, regardless if it's a unanimous decision by the judges... because stepping closer to the judges is an unfair advantage and it has to be controlled... and by scaring contestants with lose of a position is a big enough deterant... So if you're in the top 3 call out... and the judges grade you as 3rd... but you've stepped in front of the line... then the person that's in the 2nd call out that would have been judged 4th by the judges, can move up to 3rd for that pose... got it ??? good :)
