Love it or loathe this comment...Ryan Adams reaches inside me and finds me as much as Elvis himself....Ryan has been sent for a reason...his interviews are SO damned informative.

Ryan sounds better on this live version than the recording. The mark of a truly talented musician/singer, he never disappoints.

"Oh my sweet disposition, may you one day carry me home." There is so much truth in the irony of this line. It just hits home, wherever that is.

To me the best music comes from the soul. The truth, the passion, the happiness or the pain reflected in a song is what music is all about.

Magical performance! There some moments in such performances that are so so sweet and touching! Such one is during 2.51-2.57 when Janis is singing the backing vocals, she has done something (do not know what) and turns first to Neil smiling and then looks back with compassion back at Ryan...Loved that moment...It was so beautiful surrounded by this angelic music!

Best be careful, and line up a box of tissues with this song then. Can a singer possibly write a song with 17 lyrics only and find the power to get a message over?? You decide...i think this artist has nailed it in one...read the first comment on her youtube vid...sums it up completely. "WHY?" by JASMINE LAMPORT....................."STRONG" and "BREATHE"(Sonic Foxx Version) are worth some time!!

This song is like a woman i keep going back to time and time again....we part company for a year or two...off i go and date and/or live with other chicks...then i break up somewhere down the line...and walking on the boardwalk of a town...THERE SHE IS ONCE MORE...standing in front of me...and i fall to my feet, in tears because i'm head over heels once again....with SWEET CAROLINA.... ....and her arms open up, as she picks me from off that boardwalk, dusts me off and readies me for heartbreak once again.....but i still love her....ALWAYS!!!! Whenever i hear this song...I'M DONE.........this dude is a MASTER...this song is a MASTERPIECE...rock on Ryan. Here's one right back atcha Mr Adams...you taught me feeling...i penned the words to JASMINE LAMPORT'S first three songs.....all whilst listening to this song.....BLESS YOU RYAN ADAMS....Jasmine's selling well..and i, too, am a songwriter now...touching other folk in the same way as you touched me...IT ALL GOES AROUND!!! Sonic Foxx.

Lucky for me i've never laughed inappropriately at a funeral or jetted off to the other side of the world, just because....i have great moods(extremely rarely crap moods), no record of incomplete tasks..have run two businesses(1st..3.a.m starts..who needs that!!...2nd..greedy bankers..recession)..SONIC FOXX MUSIC...3rd Business(in 25 years)..songs selling/streaming, am not irritable, never had trouble at work, don't drink or take drugs,(folk around me have died regularly due to this one...I LET OFF STEAM BY HITTING A4 pieces of paper with lyrics), erratic behaviour(who doesn't...HUMAN TRAIT..we're not robots), sleep problems(living next to a main road helps that one),flight of ideas(sure helps with songwriting), RAPID SPEECH(only when i write lyrics...or list stuff for shopping after my WIFE asks me if i "need anything")....and when it comes to my sexuality....Zzzzzzzz!!!!....boring, boring, BORING....it's barely ever featured on my radar...AT ALL....ask my WIFE.... ......erm...thanks for the ad though!! P.S. I have met many folk with Bi-polar, schizophrenia, mental issues, .....THEY WERE ALL CREATIVE(vast majority had hearts in the right place)....you do the math...and google Ralph Murphy who will tell you all about the best creatives...worth a look.

In all fairness though...I NEARLY JUMPED ON A RANDOM PLANE...and flew to America for one reason and one reason only. To hook up with and surprise an American dude i met on a writers forum...his name..BRION RIBORN...totally undiscovered talent...gifted, a poet, a songwriter and a superb human being in every aspect....AMERICA and the rest of the world will catch up one fine day...i actually wrote with him(an honour..trust me...he was SMASHING any opposition on that songwriter's forum)...a demo flew across the pond to England...and POW!!!...the best song i've ever co-written thus far. I once saw a youtube video of his where Brion was playing to a few folk in a bar(KITTY KIERNANS in NEW YORK...i think he still has a residency there)...you can hear some random guy speaking gently in the background...suddenly this comment comes from his mouth..."HE'S KINDA LIKE, JOHN MAYER..he's REALLY good"....nuff said...JOE PUBLIC knew!!! IS THIS AN AD FOR BRION RIBORN??.....DAMNED RIGHT IT IS!! We'd spot this guy in a heartbeat in England...and he'd be signed!!...on the spot. LOST IN AMERICA i guess...BIG COUNTRY.

Oh my sweet disposition May you one day carry me home I ain't never been to Vegas but I gambled up my life Building news print boats I raced in sewer mains I was trying to find me something but I wasn't sure just what Funny how they say that some things never change Oh my sweet Carolina What compels me to go? Oh my sweet disposition May you one day carry me home Up here in the city it feels like things are closing in The sunset's just my light bulb burning out I miss Kentucky and I miss my family All the sweetest winds they blow across the south Oh my sweet Carolina What compels me to go? Oh my sweet disposition May you one day carry me home May you one day carry me home
