You’d kinda expect it from professional musicians, but unfortunately you can tell some don’t care as much as others. But, it’s evident every single member of Polaris is passionate about the band, music, and their lifestyle as a whole. Ryan is such a legend.

I do half a step lower, GCgcfad,for the same reason. Donk-a-donk on that G, chords in drop C, and jazz chords with that low G included.

Always great to hear these guys talk gear! I have to say though, for a channel named mixdown the mic setup is a bit janky. Not that I would have done better lol just saying. I did sub 🤘🤘

I'm a little late to the party but I can tell you that they use a set of 10-54 on the first six strings and an additional 74 for the low G# As far as six strings go it's a set of 12-60.

It’s now a 10-52 and Ryan uses a .68 on the G#. Think rick still uses a .70
