When I listened this song while playing piano tiles it felt like the most painfully beautiful thing ever. Then I researched about this song and found it was written by a homeless man. RIP Ryan. May u finally find the peace u never found in this world :"(

Ryan Arcand played music right beside my work and inside one of the buildings I worked at. I would pass by during lunch hour and he would make my day and I cried every single time listening to him play. This composition is something he channeled beyond the physical realm and I am so delighted that so many people have seen it and felt it in their hearts and souls. I think of him every single week for all these years and despite his passing, this melody keeps being part of my life. He is one of a kind and he left behind himself one of the best gifts he possibly could have. Maybe one day I meet him again and hear him play. ❤️

I love this composition, it feels like he is telling his story, his highs and lows. It feels like he was trying to get up on his feet again but it was too late.

Realmente ,Al escuchar esta música y pensas en la persona que lo compuso esta melodía , se siente una congoja,en el pecho .....tremendo , quizá es el alma de un artista reencarnada en ese hombre ., Dios cuanta , ternura , dulzura, sensibilidad . Quizá hoy vive en otro cuerpo , pero siempre se expresara con la música , no importa donde sea ., o en la riqueza o en la miseria , ya lo dejo demostrado , .... El vive !!

No cabe duda que bien reza aquel dicho que dice "si lo que vas a decir no es mejor que el silencio, no lo digas" Ryan le puso melodía al hermoso silencio y lo rompió al mismo tiempo.. y por supuesto lo que hizo fue mucho mejor..

This Melody written by this man takes you to place you've never been before....from the jump. It makes you angry it makes you sad. But all in all he makes realize what we missed In life. Ryan Arcand sadly died in March 2018. He was still living in the homeless facility where he was provided comfort...and a piano. There is a an article online, that spoke to his cousin Charles (?) Yellowbird, who told more details of Ryan Arcand's life. Very sad story. I'm glad he was able to realize, before he died, how his music, this song, touched millions of people around the world!!
