Shay is by far one the best male vocalists of our generation! He playing around but I MEAN😮🤯, did everybody hear this ad libs, the clean and clear as day high notes and crisp runs! He has always been one of my faves! Be literally has the craziest range and can run like nobody’s business but because he does country people don’t realize how much of a beast he is. Him and Guy Sebastian are my favorite male vocalists!

He slithered into that opening line, so smooth and breathy. Loved when all that grit came in and he hit that chorus. He def nailed the wail. Reminded me a bit of Michael McDonald. Lotta passion. - So You Wanna Be A Singer

If nobody had turned for Ryan I would've been really upset. The guy may not have a really big voice but he has enough to make an impact. As the song grew bigger, so did his voice with great dynamics, growls and riffs.
