There is no licence needed for preset frequency and short range uhf radios. If you want change the frequency of preset channels then only you will need approval from authorities and ham license.

As per the seller on amazon it's licence free.beacuse its under toy cataogaries and it can not be programmed,coded and change its frequency.but it's for personal use not for commercial use .if you used as commercial then definitely it requires licence.

Hello dear ,I m just got your message today may be late from you tube notification. Dear i m not misleading anybody it requires no licence because this works on frs and have power level less then approx 500 milli watt also it has no calling options and works only with the use of antenna due to its low power .even your broadband works on giga hz means as per your thinking broadband is also illegal.From these bands, in India, for wireless communication, without any license you can only transmit in these frequency ranges, 26.957 MHz to 27.383 MHz (Citizen Band) 335 MHz -500 MHz(for remote control of Cranes & other local activities) 865 MHz to 867 MHz 2.4 GHz to 2.4835 GHz (Wifi, Bluetooth) 5.825 GHz to 5.875 GHz (Wifi, Other forms of High Bandwidth Digital Transmissions like transmission of Drone Video Footages) But as per the authorities drone transmission need a licence not from telecommunication but from avionics deptt. This is just as beginners toy not a professional one. A ham radio which had power beyond the above frequency range ,power greater then 1 watt,has calling options,without antenna ,gmrs frequency needs a licence . These toy is only works in open area due to its low power and if you are using it in closed and conjusted areas then it's range decreases .as per the seller it maximum range is 500m in open areas but in city it's under 100 m . You know that if you carry a knife in your pocket is also illegal but it will depend upon your intentions whether it's for cutting vegetables or something else.every house has a knife which is illegal because as per government rules you can only buy 3 inch knife 😉 but if you are using it in home then it's legal but if you are walking with 3 inch or more then three Inch knife then definately it's illegal. So if you using it in home then it's legal and if you walking with these walky talky in open places and sensitive areas then definately it can create a trouble for you. You can't buy it .they needs proper licence to use it. Small range radio is only for home house because it's under toy cataogaries

Sir search a dealer who will provide you a good range radio and also they will help you to get the licence for the same. Otherwise licence free radio is available at amazon,Flipkart. I don't know the process to get the licence because I m not selling it.

Yes it works .that's why it's sell on amazon and flipkart .if a walky talky has a function of coding then it requires licence.its a simple machine no coding no programming.

Yes sir i know but it is only a toy not originol one.yeh khilona hai . works on frs channel .you can find it on amazon,flipkart etc and check its specifications .agar yeh aaisa hota to import nahi hota .illegal tab hai jab aap eska use kahi VIP places ya Kahi bahar kare.yeh personal use kai liye bana hai aur tracking,sports vagarh kai liye.even aap comparison kare to chaku rakhna voh bhi 3 inches sai jyada illegal hai par ghar mai kitchen knife kitna bhi bada ho legal hai.lekin agar aap kahi uska bahar lai ja rahe hai raat mai to it require a legal paper. Baat hai intention aur use ki aap personal ghar par kar rahe hai ya bahar.vaise eski frequrncy frs par hoti hai .yeb wireless set nahi walky talky hai aur less then 1 watt par kaam karta hai. Even 300 rs toy has the same specifications.
