Ryan Clark leaves ESPN after his contract expires. #ryanclark #firsttake #pivotpodcast

I think it’s unfair to compare Ryan and Pat in the first place. When ESPN hired Pat they hired a Show. They bought the rights to air it on their broadcast. Ryan went to ESPN as an employee… the Pivot has definitely turned into something special and it’s worth all his time and attention.
@catchwreck9285 ай бұрын
THATS BS and you know it. This is AMERIKKKA BRO, Black men who are uncle T0ms and stand on their Pivot WILL ALWAYS BE SEEN AS A THREAT. hence why we gotta get Whyte friends co hosts, and partners so that THE POWERS THAT BE ARENT ALARMED. ps even if ryan had his own show or whatever you dont think ESPN wouldnt play hardball with ryan to the point it doesnt come through... again dont forget what country you in.
@mitchellbaker94345 ай бұрын
These two are apples and oranges. Pat gets paid what he does because he and his show can generate tons of interest and money for ESPN, otherwise they'd never have thought of hiring him for a second. Ryan Clark is in an analyst's role and would never generate near that much, so he won't get paid near that much. But Clark is very good at what he does and deserves to make more than the average NFL analyst does.
@Mid.night1000rr5 ай бұрын
Dont forget Pat used to bash ESPN. Everytime you see Pat he always has that white stuff still on his lips 😂
@tomdiets50795 ай бұрын
He’s upset because Pat can bash another executive and get away with it and he feels like he can’t. Well that’s because Pat has a huge money making following and Pat knows that if he leaves his followers will follow so he can call out an executive and get away with it. That’s how the game works you have to have leverage and evidently Clark has none.

They look to create fake polarization, a very unrealistic version of debate. Thing is, we've seen it when it was a lot more organic. It started with Skip on Cold Pizza and the rotating cast... Stephen, Shannon, now JJ. The sad thing is that even the athletes are creating a fake polarization. Shannon changes governments often to reflect whoever is winning at the moment and JJ became a weird passive aggressive old guy plumber in young skin. He used to have my fav podcast, but the dark shadow of Disney and ESPN clearly mold these people into something they arent- an inorganic TV life form. Wish everyone contributed toward something normal, that mattered. Rc was a real one.

RC very astutely summed the situation up. RC gave you the lessons he learned as a top tier professional, and I understand it went over your ability to comprehend. I will leave it at that. The standard good ole boi tactic is to attack us by what we don't know. This causes that feeling of superiority. But that feeling changes the moment that we gain understanding and then act on it. That is when it turns into fear and anger for you types. 😊 It's really so many examples of this in all levels of American culture and it's a problem with the many that are so angry and fearful about this new America. My advice: accept it because it's happening. It's so much ignorance in America today. It's one voice, one movement at a time for progress. I for one, love the slogan e Pluribus unum.

Ryan and other former pro athletes are better off establishing their own platforms and separating from the major networks these days anyway. I think that they will find much more success that way. Just look at how high Shannon Sharpe's success is taking off!
@mjbset935 ай бұрын
I don't like Skip but let's keep it a buck, Skip brought Shannon onto the FS1 platform to help himself win. But Shannon won too by building his brand through that platform. I still think there is a lot of value in a paid quasi-internship in mainstream sports media. The ESPN polish on RC's delivery is a huge upgrade compared to their former partner. But RC a scholar and hard worker the other guy had that "internship" opportunity but he isn't as good.

They wouldn’t be able to just fire Shannon or Pat and replace them with any other athlete. They would be more than fine without ESPN and would take a lot of viewers with them if they left.

Mcafee can call people out because he doesn’t need ESPN like Clark does. If Clark had a following and built a monster progrum with a huge following then he could do what he wants as well but sadly he didn’t so he cant… Clark doesn’t call people out because he’s scared to lose his job, Pat isn’t and doesn’t need ESPN and they know it.

That's funny because I stopped the video right there to read a few comments. White people hate when black people speak out on white bias and try to discredit it every time.

Thats the problem! Pale people hate when you mentiion, or bring up "race," but steadily practice RACISM, in the dealings behind closed doors. Then got the nerve to think, we are too stupid to notice it, and get highly offended, if you point it out.
