Dear Echo, this is a great way to draw notoriety for your wonderful products. However, as a carver and lover of your products, it would be better to: 1) educate your service dealers on customer service 2) educate them on how to help chainsaw carvers, 3) encourage them to have more professional grade chainsaws in stock and 4) encourage them to stock more parts. Your service dealers in the Des Moines area don't know jack about your products and are totally inept at helping chainsaw carvers. Likewise, they don't have parts in stock nor do they stock enough qualty saws to be beneficial. The chainsaw carving community may be small but who do you think reaches the public more when demoing your products? Tree trimmers or carvers? If I attend the Iowa State fair and demo in front of 5,000 people, what saws do you want them to see? What saws do you want them to see when I demo in front of farm stores, or other public venues? The spline gear on my 361P's oiler pump is stripped. Not one of your service dealers had one. That's not entirely unexpected but it would have made my day. I considered getting another detail saw as a replacement to get me by but they couldn't answer my questions about the saws they had on hand. Likewise, if I decided to purchase one of those saws, they couldn't tell me what 1/4" sprocket I could use to put on the saw. It's infuriating. Let me ask you this, what would've happened if I had a Stihl saw and had the same ssue? I'd hate to rethink my tool lineup but it may be a strong possibility because I can't have this happen again. I hate saying that because I love your saws.

Thanks for your question: Ryan used the tip of the carving bar on a CS-2511P to carve the eye sockets, then a die grinder for the eyeball shaping. You can see the process in part 5: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/n76VnJeA1pvcYGQ.html
