Shout out to @doug Lesmerises for being the only sports reporter to press Ryan Day on his coaching decisions during the game and really trying to get some real answers about the loss to Michigan. It's like every reporter besides Doug forgot about the Michigan game. No one asked about the Film from the interception and why Kyle threw that dumb pass. I was expecting a lot more aggressiveness from the reporters with Ryan Day performance. The Repeaters mostly throw soft ball pitches to Ryan Day acting like CNN debate moderators interviewing an Democrat candidate.

This bowl game would be an excellent opportunity to see what Devin and Lincoln can actually do during extended drives under actual game conditions against a very capable opponent. Playing Devin and Lincoln is no more risky than starting and staying with Kyle throughout the entire game. This will tell you everything you need to know going into next season about your two QBs.

It was more than a couple of plays that cost us the game. Open guys on the field several plays and our QB couldn’t get them the ball. Special teams were atrocious, and we took very little chances offensively and defensively.

He came as close to saying we really don't want to go, without saying it, by saying we're treating it like a preseason practice game.

McCord sat behind CJ and didn’t learn anything. He’s literally playing like he’s never been a QB. Can’t move through his progressions and extend drives. 3rd & 8 nobody’s open and he’ll still try to force it vs just running and picking up the first. Bro had 25yrs of field in front of him in that Michigan game and still threw it and under threw it at that. His skill level didn’t get any better from game to game. He is the next Joe Barrow. We let Quinn Ewers go and looking at his record setting performance yesterday & in Playoffs. It's disappointing we don't support our players & fans are overcritical without seeing the big picture. Looking at the guys in the transfer porthole they all have inferior stats. Next year we don't want to break in another qb, especially losing so many to NFL. It will be a rebuilding year for 1st time in years if that happens losing McCord.. i would say the reason mccord put himself up for the portal is ryan days performance. players know his coaching wont put them in a championship. even if mccord goes to a smaller school, he can do better. if he stays with osu under ryan day the outcome will be the same. bad coaching, doing the the same thing that does not work. its a pretty simple concept, osu beats non ranked teams and some that are but loses under his coaching to national contenders. it wont change.

The issue wasn't Kyle McCord. The issue is that Day was out coached and the defense gave up 6 scores on the last 7 Michigan possessions. McCord wasn't calling the plays nor was he playing defense. The offense in this game outscored the Ohio State team led by CJ Stroud in last year's Michigan game (23 points under CJ Stroud). CJ Stroud threw 2 interceptions in last year's game. Day did not throw CJ Stoud under the bus last year! How about Henderson? Averaging 2 yards per carry in the first half! We opened the second half running Trayanum and he averaged 6.2 yards per carry and took Ohio State down the field for the score. What did Day do? He took Trayanum out so that Henderson would get the TD and we never saw Trayanum the rest of the game. Last year Trayanum was the the starting back in "The Game." How did Trayanum do last year? Trayanum averaged 5.9 yards per carry against Michigan last year. What game was Day watching?

Mcord has been 11 n 1…. Lost to Cheatigan by 6…. While other teams are rallying to improve n support their team BAMA, Georgia, Cheatigan we r here throwing stones… no wonder we keep losing… remember the same folks cussing Stroud after loss to Cheatigan at home?
