It's cool of him to acknowledge it on a public stage rather than take it for granted, as some would. Also, the idea that acting isn't "real" work and is comparable to just "chilling out" displays a complete lack of understanding of what acting really entails, that's all.

I’ve seen it happen so many damn times. It’s literally just easier and healthier for women to be single than in relationships with men (there’s actual studies on this. You should look into it)

His Wife is truly an incredible person. When you are also an actor and artist, but take a backseat like she did, it can be a truly tough thing to do. SERIOUSLY tough. Because you are letting your partner fulfill their dreams and their creative needs, and not yours. I fully believe this is one of the reasons most relationships in Hollywood don’t last. Because if you are both artists, one of you will most often have to take a backseat, and if you don’t, it’s a bleak future for the relationship. That being said, hopefully a day will come when she can return to her profession. I know raising kids is a huge responsibility, and borderline impossible to work around sometimes. But she’s also a really solid talent.

So much here about how classy that was of Ryan. True - he gave his wife public recognition that she enabled him to get this award. But how about some kudos for her?!!! That was an AMAZING sacrifice! Any one of those things would’ve been a LOT for her to handle on her own. But she did hard and heartbreaking work, when she was PREGNANT, all by herself, so that he could do his thing. That is LOVE- that is SELFLESSNESS- that that was keeping the big picture in mind! SHE deserves an award - for being Best Human Being in a Drama- LIFE!! TRUE success!! 🏆🥇👏👋🙏🙌🏽

This is great, but it should be normal. It should be normal, when accepting an award for the work that you were able to do, ONLY because she was at home taking care of your kids and going through her own personal family struggles, that you acknowledge your wife and all that she did.
