I can listen to Ryan Leaf all day. What an impressive human being he is.

Ryan is every bit the stud he was coming out of college! He just shows it now as an anylist instead of a player!! Continue the amazing work brother, the hard work shows!

russell wilson became a celebrity quarterback instead of a quarterback who became a celebrity. it started in seattle and went overboard in denver with his own office on a different floor away from the rest of the team.

When in the hell was the last time anyone heard a Jim Plunkett reference or analysis!?!? Either Ryan is just flexing on us or he is thorough and dialed in…I think Ryan is legitimately dialed in on as much NFL info and history as possible and then comparing it to how it relates to today’s game. Cheers Ryan, you are awesome and I think you are just doing everything you can to know your shit! Someday, you and me are gonna be buddies. That would be a dream come true for me. The rookie card I have of you has just moved into my stack of absolute favorites forever!

I’m over his past being brought up. IMO he’s much more than that. He is obviously on a great path, so talk about that versus being the “baggage” guy.

I understand what Leaf was saying about a not having a negative mindset. I wish Dan pressed him a little more about that. In Russ case its fine to not have a negative mindset but you do have to look at the criticism coming your way and see if any of it is warranted or should be blocked out. Criticism is hard but it can also be a growth opportunity if you can learn to not take it so personally. Much easier said than done.

The clock on Payton's Bronco tenure starts with the 2024 season, now that Russell Wilson has departed... IMO, there's no way Payton accepted the head coaching job without clear autonomy on cutting/benching Russ if he felt the need to do it. With how bad Wilson played the previous season, 2022, a coach with Payton's resume would set that decision as a benchmark during the hiring negotiations.

I thought the Broncos showed real improvement from 2022-2023 to 2023-2024. They went from a 5 and 12 record to an 8 and 9 record, where they played better in the second half of the season. Sean Peyton did improve the team. o

Agreed ryan has his qb glasses on too tight
@Opethianaut3 ай бұрын
I can’t see a single team lining up for what Russ has put up for the last 2 seasons. A 5 game win streak the ended up being a mirage for Denver fans. This wasn’t 100% on coaching. It was also on a QB that still believes he’s 23 out there and loves running into sacks, and missing wide open receivers.
@mickylawless19413 ай бұрын
I see Ryan Leaf on DP's show and click it and like in one! I admire the heck out of him. Sean Payton is the real problem. I don't really care for Russell as a human. But as a quarterback, I believe he still has a few years left in him. I actually would love to see him win another Super Bowl just to prove Payton for what he is, overrated!

For reals about Peyton! Narc self promoter with VERY little to show for it.. Not a Wilson fangirl, but cmon, Peyton is a bully and showed shameful behavior on the sidelines, as well as trashed another coach. NOT a leader and made horrendous in game decisions. Go Ryan!

Leaf is a fool who is rewriting history on the Broncos...as a life long season ticket holder and fan...he is out of his element. I would be SHOCKED if he did anything more than watch Broncos box scores, let alone an entire quarter of a game. This is just poor analysis.

when dan likes a player. he REALLY likes a player. i remember he said matt barkley (USC qb) was agoing no.1 overall in the draft a few years back. why? he liked the kid. barkley went in the 3rd round and out of the league in 3 years.
