I'm an alcoholic but I'm not drinking tonight after listening to Ryan today. He cleared some of the mental fog that was bogging me down.

I’m not clean at the moment, but I’ve been clean for some years in the past and I’m working towards getting there again. But I’ve always been a huge fan of Ryan. Ever since I first saw him on dans show 2years ago maybe? I’ve always followed Dan Patrick, so I’m super grateful that Ryan appeared on this show. I always stop and listen to what Ryan has to say, whether it’s sports related, or recovery related. So hats off to Ryan 👏, for leading by example. I have a lot of respect for him, in multiple ways 💯 💪🏽

Popped open Google Podcasts after work to listen to Dan Patrick Show. I saw I was hosted by Ryan Leaf, so I listened to Rick Eisen instead knowing that Leaf would spend at least an hour talking about himself. Now this is on my youtube feed. I guess I was right.

Yes. I don't believe the details ever came out, and there was no indication that drugs or alcohol were involved. He's not perfect, and he doesn't claim to be. But he's come a long way, and given his story, the highs and the lows, I find him easy to root for, as do many others.
