Dope Creator. His drum tracks are usually fairly simple and not too complex. His synths and arrangements on the other sounds is what makes his tracks sound so big. True professional.

Yeah it’s like more or less the formula to most hip hop songs. I always use to listen and try to figure out what elements I would need to make a beat sound complete. It always ends up the same for the most part. A simple drum pattern just some kicks snares and hi hats. Simple bass line. Strings such as piano guitar organ or violin. Often there’s a sample that’s altered to provide some backup to the Melodies of the string instruments, or just an instrument that’s been out through some filters to alter the sound and make it less identifiable. Now if you want some extra razzle dazzle do an alternate pattern similar to your first pattern just in a different key or same note pattern but diff instrument. Then you can also do a break down as well although it isn’t neccessary. Artists often appreciate it because they can approach that part of the song differently and it’s refreshing to the listener.

Actually if you guys pay close enough attention... he faked getting the trumpet delivered. He called sam ash and it cuts over to him talking about paying extra, but hes not actually on the phone with anyone anymore. That's why one of his guys knocked on the door and gave him the trumpet...

He had a brief success in the early 2010s when he was making more R&B oriented records/ singing on the records. Then he decided to change his style and tried to gain a reputation as a rapper, and I feel his career never quite got the traction that it used to. He's still around, but not really in the mainstream.
