Absolutely; I agree !!! Instead of wasting money on Pricey kid’s birthdays, Jordans, Yeezy sneakers, brand new vehicles & all the material 💩 we don’t really need ; most of us (middle class) should prioritize investing Money 💰 early in our careers & right out of college (early 20s) . If we all got smarter with how with spend, save & Invest money, our community would be very well set !!! They need to teach financial literacy & investing in all high schools 💯💯

Building generational takes a lot of sacrifices and that is what a lot of us are not willing to do. I put in 20k into various assets last year and flipped into six figures within a few months and still going. I’ve always been an advocate of investing because it has been rather rewarding. I hope to attain financial freedom soon. One more thing, I always look forward to your content keep up the good work.

Always happy to stumble on Ryan Leslie content! He is incredibly smart and talented. I used to watch his KZfaq videos when he first started putting music out. I would watch in awe as he would create these beautiful songs, just cycling through various musical instruments. Incredible. What isnt everybody doing it? A mixed bag of reasons. 1) never introduced, 2) not interested, 3) intimidated or just overwhelmed by the optics and data (loss, ups and down of market, etc) , 4) prioritizations of the short term over the long term 5) not feeling like they make enough fast enough 6) not thinking they have or make enough to invest. 7) not a strong financial literacy or basic principles to allow space for it. The needs managed by the basics overshadow the next step of investing. 8) trauma from financial mistakes Overall like he said fear, greed, and ego.

Rule of 72 /compound interest - he's correct that most aren't fully aware. I'm a financial literacy advocate and teach it as well - what I've come across is that most don't want to learn or have little patience to learn because they want the results fast through minimal work. Indices (index) tend to be viewed as conservative growth because of its cap/floor and "less sexy" than stocks and mutual funds. Be aware that compounding interest can also work against you when it comes to revolving debt.
