I was an athlete, on my way to a half marathon, and suffered a leg injury as a result of domestic violence. I have watched every single video on Ryan’s recovery during my 7 months (and counting) of not being able to walk. His courage, perseverance, and strength have inspired me time and time again. Thank you Ryan for sharing your story, as I am sure I am not the only one you have helped and inspired. My heart is with all the victims.

I live about two hours away from humboldt, and my brother plays hockey and his team went to the crash site and I was crying pretty bad but someone on his team didn’t have his parents there and his coach opened his arms and let him cry in his shoulder and that broke my heart.

What an incredible story that has come from such a terrible tragedy. A tragedy that struck us all, struck us hard and cut us deep. What an inspiration Ryan and his family are to all of us still hurting after the events that took place one year ago today. Keep your chins up and your spirits high. Your ambition is strong. 💚💛💚💛

This was a heart breaking day. This was all over the news as I live in Alberta. My teacher knew someone who died in the crash, the next day and for days after that at every game the WHL team that lives where I do had a moment of silence. It’s crazy that it’s been a whole year. All of you boys are strong, and remember that those other boys are watching over everyday❤️❤️

Take a second to think how much worse it would be for these young men if we had the US system of healthcare...there would be no one to sue as they would have gone out of business, the insurance liability limit on the truck would have maxed out...next would be the families going bankrupt.
@samtaplet61175 жыл бұрын
Far North Not everything in Canada is covered though. Physical therapy generally isn’t and some tests aren’t covered either. Medication and ambulances can easily cost thousands. Of course it’s still better than the USA.

Far North....Or that the owner of the trucking company didn't get a day in jail. Just the usual small dollar fine. Where's the 50,000 outraged business savvy commenters on 30 videos? I've yet to find one in the last 6 videos and over 700 comments. These kids died in vain. But zippo "bigger picture" awareness about this tragic event.
