Ahead of the Citi Summer Concert series performance, OneRepublic frontman and producer Ryan Tedder shares with the TODAY team that "Rumor Has It" by Adele was his favorite tune he wrote for another artist. "We wrote in 45 minutes and she did it one vocal take," he said.

Ryan Tedder deserves a recognition as a legitemate MUSIC ICON AND GENIUS. He is definitely one of the greatest artists in the last 50 years. Not to mention he is also one of the best vocalists ever! Give this man what he deserves!!!

I think anyone would be nervous in their first year of touring and not sound their best singing live: your mouth may be dry, you're thinking "when is the bass guitarist going to do their thing, atleast the drummer came in on time!", you are amazed by the size of the crowd, you need to do a wee and number 2s NOW, you couldn't go before your set because the toilets were all full ...

[I had to mention George somewhere, it just happens. Not an hour goes by where I don't think about his glorious music. He's pretty cute for a boy half my age too!😍 ]

I still remember those Days back when "Apologize" Dropped and I know my friends and I would play that song on Repeat trying to Disect it as we always did alot of songs by people but that particular one was a BANGER!!!! Your 1000% One of the Greatest ALL AROUND artists, song writer, singer, Producer, Performer.. etc.. it's just crazy how talented you are bro and I never saw your career turning out this way back when Apologize dropped.. not because it wasnt good or you weren't good, we just didnt know at that time you were THE JACK of All Music trades. I say "ONE OF THE BEST" but that's here in June 2020.. I have a feeling in June of 2040, we will be saying "Thee Best". Jus sayin.. Btw.. Apologize couldnt have came out at a better time because it was Spot on back then with what I was dealing with Personally. #R.T. #OneRep #Fan4Life✌

JP My favorite is probably “Set Fire To The Rain”. I actually don’t like the songs that made her famous like Chasing Pavement, Hometown Glory etc. RITD is okay but I’m not completely all in to the hype on that one.
