My grandaddy fought chickens and my daddy did it until it was illegal, and it was a way they put food on the table. They were both known for some of the best breeds and it's crazy to me how people never knew about it. I've never been around dog fighting, but being an outsider it sounds awful (I'm sure they look at cockfighting that way). Although I can tell you a rooster will fight whether you put them in a pit or not. The roosters always had to stay in separate pens where they couldn't even be within a four feet from each other.

Idk why he didn’t talk about this but Ryan had a huge following as a comedian before he had a following as a musician, at least where I’m from and I think his fame as a comedian contributed heavily to his success as a country rapper. All this aside from him being extremely talented as both.

Now that I look back on this. I can see Adam did not want to understand where Upchurch was coming from. Adam bringing up dog fighting was a set up question too. Upchurch condemned it right off the bat and you can see Adams disappointment he didn’t fall in the trap. This wasn’t a real interview it was a view grab.
