costs waaaaaay too much for all of the adapters to just change out the head unit. its ridiculous! the adapters can cost twice as much as the head unit!

Hey it might be your amp steps blowing fuses. When I put them on my 4th gen I had fuses blowing left and right. I unplugged and plugged back in it was fine

Just had a similar problem with all the electrical problems, definitely check your grounds from battery, bcm, and air bag control module underneath the drivers seat. Mine turned out to be the air bag control module. Good luck bud

Lol right I just built a huge box for my skar evl 12 in my 05 Tahoe the kicker 12’s just weren’t doing it for me with that much air space lol and I have all kicker door speakers

Check the top button thats in between the 4x4 and light knob on the left side of the steering wheel. It gives you the option to have your lights on or off when you open your door.

I changed out my same 4 dome lights in my 2010 Sierra for LED lights I bought off eBay 7 years ago and people were instantly like “holy shit” when I turned them on back then, they are so bright. Still working perfectly in 2020. Not a single issue.

All audio and chimes play through front door speakers from head unit in all GM vehicles, if you want that radio to work try reset method of talking off negative of battery for about 10 mins it may help

Check your door latch for the amp steps, on my silverado my latches stick and my lights don't come on and my steps dont come down. I push it and it works. I sprayed them and it works fine

There’s a button next to your head light switch about your interior light adjuster. If you click it the dome lights will turn on when you open the door

All of the door chimes, turn signal sound and any other audio are all in the stereo harness which is kinda trash in these style silverados/tahoes

I'd look into your body control module it's super common for gm cars to have lights and radio issues due to body control harness

The way you light up your gauges. At night or decrease them they may be all the way down which makes the dome lights not come on. Turn it up one click and it should work

The turn signal/radio thing bugs out occasionally in my 09 Sierra Denali too. I found that pulling the radio/amplifier fuse under the hood and putting right back in always resets it back to normal

I had the same problem on my '09 silverado where the radio and blinker sounds would not work. I went to the under the hood fuse block, pulled the fuses, put them back in and then disconnected and reconnected the battery. It fixed the problem completely.

Can’t wait to see what your gonna build next after this Tahoe. All though this Tahoe looks amazing. You did a great job on it. Ryan also wanted to tell you that I have an Ford F-350 1996 and I’m gonna rap it white and then I’m gonna lifted it 6-8 inches and I’m gonna powder coat stuff under the truck like a candy red. I’m gonna have some candy red accents in the headlights and taillights also. What do you think about it? Thanks Ryan and keep up the great work.

Try and see if you can take a door speaker or a tweeter out and hook a different speaker to it and see if it’s the speaker I’ve had 3 2007 Silverado’s a 2500, a 1500, and a 1500 z71 and I had to replace all the speakers in them and they were all gas too

You should totally buy the Range AFM disabler so it stops the engine from going 8 cylinders to 4 cylinders. Cost about $200 but it will save your lifters in the engine!!

Get steering stabilizer for the tahoe and then replace tie rod ends, wheel and hub bearings,pitman arm,idle arm while your doing the lower ball joints. You wont regret it

My truck did the same thing. It was the radio that went bad. Your amp will not go out we thought the same thing but took it to a guy and he said that the car will rot before the amp goes bad it is the radio
