Ryanair social media trying to explain they’re the best:

not a single fatal crash in nearly forty years is actually really good

As a person that has flown Ryanair, I can confirm they make hard landings, no matter the weather condition, no matter the airport size.

Ive flown Ryanair once. The landings portrayed are understatements.

I have flown with Ryanair from Cardiff to Faro, and honestly really enjoyed it. The seats were the old comfier ones and the flight itself was pretty good. My Nan even won the Ryanair Lottery, a whopping £10. 10/10 would fly again

The thing is Ryanair is 10x richer than all the big airlines it’s just they save because all the big airports have a high cost: jetsways, fees etc.

Once flew with them, landing was as advertised, but it was a dirt dry runway, so completely unnecessary. They’re also famous for suggesting „standing spots“ where you’d stand instead of sitting during the flight, which the European Union luckily stopped from happening.

One thing I've noticed about Ryanair is that, if you look at their KZfaq, they constantly joke about the hard landings and complaints, and always end by basically saying: haha why would we care, we're cheap and you can't afford anything else :) (which is true cause i've only flown ryanair due to its crazy low prices ☠💀)

0 legroom, exorbitant luggage prices but when flying from home to uni and back with just a backpack it is truly the best. and the only airline that operates a direct flight on that route. I have also experienced ridiclus delays a number of time and the reimbursment/food money for 6 hours of delay was barely enough to buy a banana at the airport. When it comes to landing... out of around a dozen I had, only one was 'hard'

Ryanair is the roller coaster of the sky because when the plane land the excitment is just like when you are on a roller coaster

The reason Ryanair lands so badly is because they do higher approaches than normal airlines to reduce the risk of a tail strike that's why the have to slam the ground to not go-around or overrun

Ryanair comes at my local airport, Basel, and I saw it quite a few times already. Needless to say that I never saw them do a soft landing. Now that it’s winter time they will come even more and I feel bad for the runway 🫠

The difference is, Delta is the hardcore champion of Landings...................Ryanair is the champion of hardcore landings. You have to applaud their social media admins though. Any issue or big news and they use it as a source for their advertisements. Some of my favorites include one where Trump's son couldn't use the Presidential transport since the former lost elections, and Ryanair displayed prices and routes which they believed would please him. And even in F1, multiple times after crashes you could see the admin chewing on their performances, and turning them to makeshift Ryanair ads. Say what you want about their landings, but companies would kill to have their PR team😂😂

Ryanair does around 30 flights/day, and for a short time, LIMF/TRN (my local airport) was the hub of Ryanair. also, the landings are quite smooth

I think the landing gear on a Ryanair plane is the strongest thing to ever exist with how well it’s holding up

you forgot to mention the reason they land hard. since they only operate out of minor (regional) airports the runways are shorter and therefore less room to land, so they have to land so they need as much space as possible so they don’t run off

There's also the fact that Lauda just casually operates literally no Boeing aircraft, and are entirely ran using A320s.. For some reason. Shockingly, the lease on them has heen extended to 2028 too, so they're here to stay.

top tip: you wanna fly with a cabin bag for cheap and a nice flight? go lufthansa, second option, think its called economy classic, been doing it for a while and i get a cabin bag, food and drink on board, booking my seat, I fly to austria maybe five times a year and if i book two or three months before it costs me ~£160 round trip with bags and the window seat the whole way, never had a hard landing or nout, sooooo I like it (Oh and actually landing in the place you want to go, rather than bumfuck nowhere and a 30 quid taxi ride to your actual destination)

In summer i wanted to fly with ryanair to malorca, that time i didnt know if ryanair was safe or not but all flights was canceled luckily

Fun fact:Ryanair does hard landings so that it could stop the plane whenever its too hard too land when theres wind so that they could stop the plane easily

They often fly to and land on smaller, shorter airfields, less expensive to operate on...so they often plop em hard to start braking as quickly as possible x)
