Ryan being a shinning example of how not to play the main event for the rest of the poker community, what a great guy. So turbo, you got to be able to fold for hours. Only play big pots when you really need to. Avoid bad situations, they slowly start to tilt you, better to just fold and be happy with folding. Love the entertainment though.

Keep your head up, grind it out, and keep creating. We're hear for the ride and are enjoying our time with you along the way. It can always be worse and it can always be better. Someone asked about this the other day, if you say “24” it’s 24,000 as long as the pot is more than 24,000, whatever the largest size that’s less that a pot-sized bet is binding when you don’t clarify.

Oh man. You can really feel the existential dread there at the end. Ryan, at the end of the day you're living a life many would dream of. Even though you aren't winning as much as you'd like, take a look around, you have an entire community behind you, friends and family. You'll be alright kid.

"I feel like this is the last hand I will ever play in the main". I think I speak for all dgens and poker players everywhere when I say we certainly hope this is not the last time you play the main event! It always gets darker before it gets brighter, hang in there, Ryan!

I had to go rewatch the Colossus and Whole Food parking lot runs to shake the negative juju. Silver lining there’s always next year and a great excuse to go back to Vegas and compete once again.

For the record, on your 2,400/24,000 hand, the rule is that the highest size up to the size of the pot is the bet, which means if you say "24" the bet is 24,000 since the pot was 64k. "57: Non-Standard and Unclear Betting Players use unofficial betting terms and gestures at their own risk. These may be interpreted to mean other than what the player intended. Also, if a declared bet can legally have multiple meanings, it will be ruled the highest reasonable amount that is less than or equal to the pot size* before the bet. Ex: NLHE 200-400, the pot totals less than 5000, player declares “I bet five.” With no other clarifying information, the bet is 500; if the pot totals 5000 or more, the bet is 5000. *The pot is the total of all prior bets including any bets in front of a player not yet pulled in. See Rules 2, 3, 40 and 42."
