Most users don't care about units such as ANSI. They only care about the real-use experience, I bought the X5, It is very helpful for friends who like clear picture quality.

Thank you very much for testing the video playback via external hard drive. I have been commenting and requesting many people to do that since I have slot of movies in external hdd. Finally you are the one who did it in the review. Thank you so much. You earned a subscriber. You mentioned some plays and some don't. Can you please confirm this for me : 4k HDR H265 (HEVC) playback. If you want fine i can share link also. If i know if that is supported, i will buy it in an instant. Thank you. Maybe you can more in-depth video on the video codec compatibility.

Hi Ryan, It seems to me that the lens in your projector has a spot on. In the recording, especially on a white background, you can see a black dot. Perhaps it's some dirt on the outer side, but it's worse if this dirt got in during the production stage - inside the optics.

Wanbo has a dust cleaning tutorial for X5 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rbJ2hdJm36q6hmg.html. But if it's dead pixels you can only send it back, there's nothing to do.

i buy this about 2 weeks, netflix work fine, the other good thing is, it can play speaker via bluetooth, so you can connect to bluetooth speaker and put it in front with no cable needed

I've read that the main projection engine is sealed which won't allow the dust to get inside and it should avoid black dots. And for those dust accumulating in the outer lens regular wiping with an appropriate cloth would help.

I own a Epson EB u04. In eco mode it got 2.100 and 3000 ansi in normal mode. But let me tell you one thing. Yes it's nice to have a bright picture, but when I'm watching late at night, it's too bright for tired eyes. So cause of this I got a toptro x6 also in my living room that is not that bright like the Epson. And it's more pleasant to watch with the toptro late at night

@@jakefever7193 It is 1100 ANSI lumens. In this video u can see only one side having 240 something lumens in a normal screen . Four corners brightness itself will come upto 960 ANSI lumens.
